My parents were out of the hospital for almost a month now. My mom found an apartment near the school and was staying there. We were able to do a paternity test proving Shota Aizawa was my father, and I was able to take his name.

Toshinowa Aizawa.

"Slik! We're going to be late!" I didn't want to be called Ki anymore, so everyone used my hero name as a nickname.

"I'm coming!" I threw on my jacket and grabbed my backpack. "Sorry. Beauty takes time."

"But you don't wear makeup."

"All natural. Beauty sleep."

"How did you manage to oversleep again?"

"It's easy. You just keep turning off your alarm." She rolled her eyes.

"Whatever. Let's go."

"So you're really going to sit there and tell me that you don't want to be friends with my sister?"

"No. I'm going to sit here and tell you that I'm afraid to meet your family."

"Oh, come on. My dad's not as mean as everyone says he is."

"He's right. Me and Midoriya did our work study with him."

"Yeah. And his siblings are really nice."

"I just-"

"Nope," Shokya interrupted me. "I'm deciding for you. And you're going. I'll even help you get ready." The bell rang. He gave me an apologetic look.

"I cannot believe you did that."

"Oops. I'm designing your outfit during class." She tapped her ear. "And we will be discussing it."

"Ugh."

(-)

"Admit it. It wasn't that bad."

"You know, it really wasn't. Thank you for inviting me." I turned to walk inside.

"Toshinowa." This was the first time he used my first name. I stopped. "I didn't invite you to dinner with my family as a hang out type thing." I turned around.

"What do you mean?" I knew exactly what he meant. He sighed, scratching the back of his head.

"This isn't really isn't a conversation I wanted to have in front of your dorm building after dinner." I hopped down the stairs.

"Then let's take a walk." He didn't talk until we were quite a ways from the building.

"I honestly don't know how to say this."

"Then don't beat around the bush. Tell me." He took a deep breath.

"Ok. Well, I don't have a lot of experience with certain feelings, but I know that this is different. The day of the rescue mission, Mr. Aizawa said he saw something in me that no one else did. He said I have a kind, loving heart that I just never got the chance to express. He said that he could tell I cared for you differently than the others did. In a different way. I-I didn't know what he meant at first, but now... I understand it now."

"And what is that?" He was definitely blushing.

"I-I don't know what to call it." I started laughing. I couldn't stop it. "What?"
