Beiguang Supremacy - A Collection of 𝐵𝑒𝒾𝒹𝑜𝓊 and 𝓝𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓰𝓾𝓪𝓷𝓰 Stories

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘀

The night sky had begun to welcome Teyvat into its arms. The sun was faintly seen hanging on the horizon, with its bright yellow and orange light still illuminating half of the sky. The blending of the dark colors of the night and the light colors of the day crashed into each other, creating a gradient of magnificent colors. It would be later tonight that the sky will turn to its dark blue, black colored atmosphere. However, the difference between tonight and any other regular day is that the night sky will be illuminated by hundreds, or even thousands, by brilliant, orange lanterns with an aura. The stars' glows would be outshined by these manmade lanterns.

They would also be outshined by the renowned Naganohara fireworks that had finished shipping in from the Isolated Archipelago Far East of Teyvat, Inazuma. Tens of thousands of each unique fireworks were being brought into the Harbor of Stone and Contracts, Liyue Harbor. These fireworks will be manhandled by Liyue's finest, and when the time has come, they will unleash these fireworks into the night sky, furthermore outshining the twinkling stars above. The entire, spectacular arrangement featuring these different events are all important to honor the fallen adeptus Skybracer, but among the people of Liyue and most adventurers spread across Teyvat, this celebration is dubbed, 'The Lantern Rite Festival'.

As the night began to bleed and taint the rest of the sky, Liyue's citizens from the other regions and travelers from the other six nations of Teyvat began to flood the streets, pouring in through the wharfs or the two bridges crossing over to the great City of Contracts. Liyue Harbor, the bustling city located in the Sea of Clouds region of Liyue, is the main city hosting the Lantern Rite Festival.

While the common folk, adventurers, and travelers were busy filling the streets up trying to buy the limited time cuisines or materials needed to create the lanterns that will later be released into the sky, members of the Liyue Qixing were busy in their own assigned sectors of managing the current market economy and commerce within the city. Although most of these members were hiding away from the crowds, only doing their work through means of their penmanship and deals, one prominent member and one of the most wealthiest people in all of Teyvat is seen standing at the edge of Yuehai Pavilion, observing the people below and their conversations. With her natural carved Sandbearer smoking pipe clutched between her bare fingers, she watches as the night sky progresses slowly; the purple streaks blending with the sunset were almost long gone.

"Oh! Look over there! It's Ningguang!"

A familiar high-pitched voice alerted the quiet woman, and she immediately straightened her posture up, knowing that it most likely was nearing her. As she turned around, she was then greeted by none other than the renowned blonde-haired Traveler. The Traveler, approaching the woman with both courtesy and grace in their walk, smiled at the woman. And Paimon, the floating creature, was accompanying the Traveler as always.

The woman is none other than the Lady Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing, Ningguang. She is looked upon as the person responsible for the entirety of Liyue itself, and the people respect her for who she is. They also understand how powerful her willpower is when it came to her abilities with or without the use of her Vision.

"Traveler, I see you've returned from your journey into the Land of Eternity," Ningguang said.

"Eek!" Paimon exclaimed. She turned over to the Traveler, her eyes showing a sense of fear. "Is she still able to see us all the way in Inazuma...even without the Jade Chamber?!"

Ningguang chuckled, and from that chuckle she exerted followed a lighthearted smile. "You were easy to spot from that boat you were riding in...but of course, I was unable to see that. I only know of that."

"H...How?!" Paimon exclaimed again, her voice high-pitched as ever.

"The moment you reached the southern wharf, of course," Ningguang said, crossing her arms. She changed the subject. "I assume your journey back from Inazuma was alright?"
