"Emma, what are you doing here?" Marcus asked. "Ummm welllll....." I trailed off, not looking into his eyes. I hated disappointing Marcus. He was like the father I always needed to me, and he treated me like a daughter, not a science experiment. "Are you alright? Your fists are clenched." he snapped his fingers. "Get me my magnifying glass." A scrawny woman in a lab coat hands him a silver magnifying glass. He took it, thanked her, and looked at me. He leaned in close, putting the magnifying glass towards my eye. Looking in it, he frowned. "Your eyes have a spark. And that's not a compliment. Men! Strap her down." Two masculine men came running towards me, grabbing my arms, and dragged me to a white room. A silver table with all sorts of gadgets and tools sat next to a big silver table. "Strap her down. Emma, stay calm. You know the drill." he stated calmly. You might have noticed I go through this every so often. "No! Let me go! I hate this!" I struggled, but they were trained to with stand me. They smacked me on the big silver table. Rings shot out from underneath it, clasping my ankles, my wrists, my knees, and my elbows. Finally, a big clasp strapped my stomach. "Marcus! Tell them to let go!" I pleaded, trying to free myself. I felt my eyes heating up, and anger attacked my nervous system. "Ok. Lower the gun." A huge bright green gun fell from the ceiling hooked to wires. It had holes for shooting. One was filled with a green liquid, one a blue. "Ok Emma. In case you've forgotten, the green liquid is Gargonium and the blue liquid is Hydronerum. Stay calm, so they can do their job." They all placed safety goggles on, and went to a small room with a big window. He grabbed a red remote, and pressed a button. Suddenly, the blue and green liquid shot out, combining as one. I was coated with it, and my nerves began to calm. Feeling happier, and relaxed, the clasps released me. I sat up, grabbing a towel. I wiped my face. I swear, that stuff is so gross. "You did well. Let me check your eyes. Ok, well you seem calm now. Why don't we get you changed, so you can do some training?" he smiled, helping me off the table. I walked out. Two ladies held out my black suit, black combat boots, and a hair tie. I took a quick shower, ridding myself of the horrible liquids, and changed. This uniform was required to wear. I walked out, spotting Marcus I ran up to him. "How did you get so angry?" he asked. "Well, I got in a brawl. I only did it for defense! The guy came at me!" I told him. "Well, you have attracted some guys?" he asked, amusement clear in his voice. "Haha very funny. I have weird powers but that doesn't mean I can't get a date. And speak for yourself, I heard from gossip in the lab you haven't had a date in 20 years." I said smirking. "Well, who has time for dates when without me you could destroy the whole city?" he said. I hip bumped him, and waved good bye. "Oh and by the way, can I go to this pool party on Saturday?" I asked earnestly. "Fine fine. But phone me and I'll send my men to take care of any problems so you don't actually crash the party." We both laughed, and we hugged good bye. I walked back to my cart, and began driving home. Hmmm. I wonder what bikini I should wear? I might just go shopping. I smiled to myself. Oh, how great it feels when you aren't turning into an emotion-filled monster.
