Your POV:
Everything was dark. I could see River. See Dan. See Ricky. Covered in blood. As if I had done it all. Every muscle in my body refusing to move. Stiff as a board and refusing to even listen to what I wanted it to do. I couldn't move, couldn't open my eyes. And it scared me.Eventually, I could feel my eyes begin to open. Ever so slightly, though the room was rather blurry. My limbs, everything felt heavy. I could hear some weird noise in the room I was in, yet I couldn't place what it was coming from.
"Hey, how are you feeling?" Max said.
"Max? How'd you know we'd be here?" I asked.
"I saw the news." Max said, looking down.
"Max, I'm fine. I'm alive, aren't I?" I say, trying to sit up.
"Woah, calm down. You almost died!" Max said, coming over and stopping me.
"Going to Ash's." I argued.
"Then I'll ask the nurse if that's possible." Max said, leaving.
"Max?" I called before he left.
"Hm?" He said.
"Thank you..." I uttered.
He left and came back a moment later with a nurse. They'd agreed to move me to where Ash was. Going down the corridor a bit, we eventually got to Ash's room. And I was pushed in.
"Y/N?" Ash said, looking at me.
"Ash..." I said, a tear streaming down my cheek.
"I thought I lost you..." I added.
"I won't go down without a fight, you know that." Ash reassured.
And with that, Max left.
"Hey, how are you feeling?" Jenkins said.
"Still can't die, huh." Ash said, looking at the ceiling.
"How do you expect me to feel?" I add.
"Don't say that. It's a good thing you're alive." Jenkins said.
"I wouldn't be so sure." Ash said, facing to the side.
"You understand what you two did, right? You're 18 now. You're not children anymore." Jenkins explained.
"I've ignored the law all my life. I'm not going to ask the law to protect me now." Ash said.
"What has the law ever done for me? They weren't there when I needed it most so why the hell would I ask for its protection." I added.
"I see." Jenkins said.
To which both him and Charlie left.
"Damn it." I heard Ash say.
"What's wrong?" I said, leaning on the edge of my bed and wincing in pain slightly.
"Nothing." He replied.
It was obvious the pain was bothering him. Which was understandable, my own pain was bothering me as well. I'd experienced all sorts of wounds in my 18 years of living, but this by far was the worst of them all.
Just as Ash had said that a nurse walked into the room. Followed by three others. Flirting with Ash and me as well. Apparently, both of us were cute in their eyes. I think they need to wash their eyes out if they think I'm cute.
"Yeah..." Ash eventually said.
This was way too overwhelming. Eventually, Charlie and Jenkins came back.
"Keep them away from us!" I said.
"They won't let me take a piss alone." Ash argued.
"They won't even let me do anything alone." I sighed.
