Your POV:
It had been a few days since the nurse had come and told me she'd help us get out. I still felt weak after the incident on the bridge, but obviously I never let it show. She came back and told me her plan was already in full swing and handed me a swiped security card. She then told me exactly what the plan was.

"Look, I'm gonna go find Ash and bring him here without being seen. You stay here." She said, and then left.

Is this really going to work? The public tour was taking place today, so I had a feeling Max and Ibe were here. So obviously I wanted to ask the nurse some questions. When she came back with Ash, I explained the situation.

"This is Ayaka. She's gonna help us escape. I don't know what she has planned, but she's trustworthy." I explain.

"How'd you meet then?" Ash asked.

"Through a friend. Well, a scientist." I explain.

"So that's where you went ages go." Ash pieced together.

"Yeah, she owed me a favour, and this was it." I explained.

"I have someone situated in the security room. With a single word, they can shut the cameras off for half an hour." She explained.

"Within that time, we need to find Dawson, and an escape route." Ash said.

"I have the escape route planned, and Dawson is already within reach. One of the other nurses has him. She's gonna meet us at the front gate. We just have to get you two out." She said.

"We'll be fine. Meet us at the exit." I said.

With that, she nodded and told her friend to shut down the cameras. We then quickly left the room and began finding our escape route. Before we could even go anywhere, Ayaka pushed us into a room and told us to put some clothes on. And she made Ash lie under a sheet and me dressed as a nurse.

She quickly escorted us to an elevator and pushed the button going down. She had previously handed me her phone and I texted Max telling him that if he were in the Mental Institute, him and Ibe should leave. To which he replied with "okay". I kinda expected a longer response, considering it was plastered on the news I was dead.

"We're almost out." She said.

We finally made it to the ground floor and out the front door. Ibe and Max were already outside, and we told them to go to one of the ambulances. They followed and we eventually made it to one. The back was opened up and Dawson was inside. Ash climbed into the front with the nurse and me, Ibe and Dawson in the back.

When we got to the gate, Ayaka explained, and we let out. She drove a good distance before pulling over and getting out.

"This is as far as I can take you." She said.

"Ayaka?" I said.

"Hm?" She replied.

"Thank you..." I said as she left.

After that, I fell asleep in the back. I was tossing and turning a lot before I jolted awake. My breathing was erratic before it eventually calmed down.

"Are you okay?" Ibe asked.

"Y-yeah." I replied as the ambulance pulled over.

"You're going to go find Eiji." I heard Max say.

"What do you mean "find Eiji"?" I asked.

"Eiji's gone missing..." Ibe said, filling me in.

"Ash. Then I'm coming with you." I added on.

"I understand how you both feel, but you're worn out. You both need some rest." Max lectured.

"I know." Ash replied.
