Mackenzie Pov
I was waiting for people to join my Among Us server. People kept joining and then leaving right after. Seconds before I was about to call it quits and leave the server, someone joined. We played a couple of games together. I asked them how old they were because they seemed like a cool person. He said he was going to turn 17 in a couple of months, so I asked for his Snapchat. He gave it to me and we played a few more games, but unfortunately he had to go. I wasn't really happy about it, but I reminded him to add me.
Around quarter after 12, he added me, and I snapped him. We talked for a while, then I asked him if we could facetime so I knew he wasn't an old man. He said sure, so I called him. Thankfully, when I saw him, he did look the age he told me earlier. He was also kinda cute.. We talked on facetime for a bit and got to know each other. Sadly, he lived in Texas, so we wouldn't be able to meet anytime soon. After like an hour of talking, I had to go to bed. Every day after that, we talked from like 11pm to like 1am.
One day I had a surprise for him.
"Hey Ethan! I have a surprise for you."
"Really?"
"Yeah! My dad lives in Texas and I'm visiting him next week! Maybe we can hang out."
"yeah that would be a lot of fun." Ethan replied. "When do you leave?"
"Two weeks"
After what felt like forever, it was finally the day of my flight. I was so excited to finally meet my best friend after months of waiting. Lowkey my least favourite thing about travelling is all the waiting. This specific trip took like six hours. My dad picked me up from the airport. Once I got to the house, I texted Ethan, and told him that we could probably call in a bit after I hang out with my family for a while. I caught up with my family, and after dinner I played video games with my siblings. Once everyone went to bed, I stayed up and called Ethan. We agreed to go to the skate park in a couple of days.

I would also like to say that the chapters won't be super long, as I originally wrote this on Google Docs and I'm having trouble breaking it up into parts.
