"Well, I remembered your name before anyone else's, and one of your eyes is pretty familiar," Kami bluntly spoke, rubbing her eyes and letting out a long-winded sigh. "Now, are you going to tell me anything? If not, please leave and bring the pink-haired girl in."

"I'll try to answer as many of your questions as possible. Though Nagito did warn me not to overwhelm you with information-"

"I don't care. I would rather be told everything and then process it all at once," Kami tried as Hajime mulled over her answer for a minute before shaking his head. She let out a frustrated sigh as he moved to sit down next to her. "Do you happen to know anyone who will tell me what I have forgotten? Please, Hajime."

"Erm, no one that I know of..." he muttered, hands straightening out the wrinkles in his plain white shirt. "Just ask me anything, and I'll gauge if I can tell you or not."

"Well then, I do know that I got into a school called Hope's Peak before my memory was cut off. I got into an accident that caused my amnesia, and I can remember everything that happened in my childhood. I'm living in a mansion with someone who I must have met during my memory gap, and I must have befriended you and the others during that time, too."

"That's almost right. You met me and the others while we were at Hope's Peak, but you already knew Nagito before then. He never really talked about it with me, only mentioned it once. I would say that the two of you were childhood friends or something like that."

"What are you talking about?" Kami asked, tilting her head. "I would have noticed something familiar about him-" Her words died in her mouth as she realized that she had had a rush of memories regarding him recently. "Alright, I'll believe that, but I don't see how everything about him, except for a few memories, was deleted."

"Deleted? That's a unique way of saying you lost your memories," he responded before chuckling at Kami's exasperated expression. "I was only teasing. Now, anything else?"

"I need to know what my relationship with Komaeda-kun is. Sure, we were supposedly friends during our youth and in high school, but why would I want to buy a mansion with him?"

"I would rather not impede on certain affairs, but you did not buy the house with him. It's been in his family for generations; he inherited it when his parents died. Also, you've got your own apartment near mine. Nagito preferred having you closer to him while you were in a coma, so your room was set up here. From what I know, you used to regularly live here for weeks at a time. I would have bet anything that you were planning on permanently moving in with him soon."

"O-okay, but what about my age? Am I in college, or what? Dang, that might be a lot of work to make up..."

"Haha, nope. You graduated from college when you were twenty with a degree in English. That was about two years ago, I would say."

"It's hard to believe that I can't remember so many years of my life..." Kami trailed off, staring off into space.

"Oh, please don't do that on me!?" Hajime exclaimed, waving his hands in front of Kami's face, which caused her to snap out of her daze. "Oh, thank God..."

"Oh, relax! I'm not going to die on you. One more question... What kind of an accident was I in? Komaeda-kun is avoiding that question for some reason."

"That would be where I draw the line. I am not entirely sure what happened, so I would not be comfortable trying to explain it to you. Maybe you could ask Mikan?"
