"Mom!" I opened the door imprudently.

"Belle," Zedie greeted me, stunned. "Bakit?"

"Where's Mom?" I asked coldly, "is she upstairs?" With furrowed brows, she nodded. "How about Zion?"

She looked at me, clueless, before pointing to the bedroom. "Okay ka lang ba?"

I scoffed. "Please, go to your room, Zedie." She creased her forehead. "Mona! Leave the house. You can go out early." Her eyes went round. "Bring Lisa too."

"Belle, ano bang meron?"

I shook my head. "Mona," I said once more. She nodded and went to the kitchen. I looked at Zedie before I went upstairs.

Everything was fine. Even though long hair told me he was going somewhere because of Leon's order, I accepted that. I even volunteered to check on Inna every day, even though I had a hectic schedule, though it was impossible because we were still trying to lie low again. Everything was okay when long hair left a while ago, then Inna and I were having fun until someone ruined it.

"Nako, Belle, wala naman gusto sa buhay 'yan si Izen. Kaya naman siya nag-nursing dahil iyon daw ang pangarap ko."

I scoffed. "Long hair doesn't really live for himself," I commented, and shook my head. "I think if you ask him to jump off the building, he will do it."

Inna laughed. "Hindi naman." And shook her head. "Gano'n lang talaga ang batang 'yon. Napakabait diba?" I smiled and nodded. "Sabi nila, ang mababait, grabe magalit. Hindi naman ako naniniwala doon pero pinapatunayan ni Izen 'yon."

"About Guilermo?"

She sadly smiled. "Malambot 'yon sa papa niya, pero wala eh, iba magtanim ng galit si Izen. Nakakatakot minsan. Ayokong mabuhay siya na puro galit, pero masyadong protective sa akin eh." I smiled. "Kaya kayo, kapag nag-away kayo, kapag nagalit siya. Hintay ka lang, lalambot agad 'yon sa'yo. Hindi 'yon magtatagal na ganoon. Galit lang siya, pero mahal ka niya."

"I can't imagine long hair being mad at me." I chuckled. "He's too good on me."

"Nakikita ko nga." We laughed. Long hair was really spoiling me. I wanted to stop him from doing that, but he was too good.

A knock from their door was heard. Inna stood up and checked the door. "Wala namang tao," she whispered. She got something off the floor and came back with an envelope. "Wala na 'yung tao pero may iniwan," she stated, confused.

My forehead creased. "What was that?"

"Belle Ivory nakapangalan."

I raised my brows and accepted the envelope. "How would the messenger know that I'm here?"

"Mom!" I slammed the door when it was locked. "Mom!"

Mom opened the door, looking at me and confused at my state. I entered their room, so she stepped back. I closed the door and threw the envelope on the floor.

"What was that, Mom? Were you a mistress?" I asked straight to the point and was disgusted.

"What are you talking about, Belle Ivory?"

"Don't ask me!" I shouted and pointed at the envelope. "Just look in that envelope and answer me!"

"You're too angry, Belle," she said calmly, "just rest. Let's talk tomorrow." Then she picked up the envelope and gave it to me.

I let out a big sigh when I grabbed the envelope abruptly, then I opened it. I put all the papers I got on their bed. I heard her gasp, but I continued arranging the papers before I looked at her.
