Chapter 2-

Hugging Rosie🌼

As we got back to the farm, Cocoa started to lose her warmth.
"Dad, I'm not sure if Cocoa is going to make it..." I told my Dad.
"Well, we are here now so go and get Chloe!" My dad said.

My youngest sister, Chloe, was basically a vet. she knew absolutely everything about every illness a farm animal could have. The weird thing is that she is only 14.

*at the house*

"Chloe, we have a new born calf losing temperature quickly." I told Chloe
"Coming" she replied.
We walked to the barn, my dad had put Rosie, Cocoa and Petal in.
When we arrived Chloe started feeling the calf's back and neck.
"I'm afraid that this Calf has an infection. Has he drank or eaten something?" Chloe said
"On the way back he had some of his mothers milk." I told Chloe.
Chloe then got a sample of the milk and put her finger in it. she bought her finger up to her nose and smelt it.
"This cow isn't lactating properly. If the calves drink too much it could potentially kill them. we have to bottle feed them." Chloe informed us.
I went to get two bottles. one for me and one for Cam.
"Here ya go" I said whilst shaking the powder and water in Cam's bottle.
"Thanks" he spoke
"Your welcome" I said with a grin creeping on my face.
"Oooh!" Brooklyn, Chloe and Laura cheered as my father walked back to the house.
"Shut up" I told them as Cam and I started to blush.
"We'll leave you two lovebirds to it then!" Brooklyn spoke as everyone exited.
"Sorry about that Ca-"
I was interrupted by a soft pair of pink lips connecting to mine. I kissed back almost instantly. I felt a warm fuzzy feeling inside, I realised then and there that I may like this boy, the hitchhiker boy that I had only met 3 or 4 hours ago.
"Wow" we said in unison
"Did you get that warm fuzzy feeling inside?" I asked Cam
"Uh huh!" He said whilst nodding his head in agreement.
"Hey, uh Kenzie?"
"Yeah" I replied
"Can I get your number please?" He asked
I simply nodded and got my phone out of my pocket and passed it over to him as he passed me his.
"Thank you" I said whilst handing him his phone and receiving mine.
"Your welcome" he smiled back.
We could hear footsteps so Cam and I both went back to feeding the calves.
"Hey, Charlie. Hey, Chloe" I said to my youngest brother and sister.
"Hey" they replied back.
Chloe then bent down next to Rosie's back. Rosie laid her head on Chloe's lap. Chloe hugged her and I took a photo.
"Awww" I awed looking at the photo.
"Hey, Rosie is sad! You can't 'aww' at me! I'm trying to help the poor cow!" Chloe snapped in defence.
"Hey, Kenzie. please can you help me tack up Rocky?" Charlie asked me.
"Sure! Come on Cam!" I replied in answer to his question.
We all, apart from Chloe, stood up and started to walk towards the stables.
I tacked Rocky, Tiggy and Peppy up, making sure to spray this new carrot flavoured oil all over the bit.
"Here you go!" I said whilst handing the reins over to Charlie.
"Thanks, I'm gonna go jumping!" Charlie replied as he walked off.
I just had a great idea! Bare  back hacking!
I pulled the saddles off Tiggy and Peppy.
I jumped on my 17 hand horse and said to a shocked looking Cam "you coming?"
"B-buut what about the saddles and the hats and horse riding clothes?!"
"Just get on you big wimp!" I said whilst galloping over a near by fallen tree.
He soon caught up after me being stood still for a solid minute.
"I will teach you how to ride, don't worry" I smiled over at Cam as we walked into a big, flat open field.
"You kick to go faster and pull to go slower, to steer you pull the reins in either which way and to jump you lift your bum up, pull your head down to the horses neck and the same with your hands." I explained, not wanting to go into too much detail.
"Uhh, can you show me how to jump please?" He said whilst biting his lip.
He looked so cute, I couldn't resist.
"Fine" I replied.
I found a carry tall tree and galloped up to it, I put my butt in the air and 'hugged' my horses neck as we flew over.
"Once more?... Please?" Cam begged as he stuck his bottom lip out.
I simply nodded my head in agreement and went back to jump.
I jumped over with ease but as I landed, I tumbled over Tiggy's neck and fell off.
"Oh my god! Are you okay?" Cameron asked me
"Haha, yeah I'm all good!" I told him.
"Who are you, if you don't mind me asking?" I joked around
"You don't remember me?" Cam questioned
"Of course I do you big gullible idiot" I smiled whilst ruffling a hand through his hair.
He smiled back and galloped off.
"Hey! Wait for me!" I said whilst jumping back on Tiggy and catching up with him.
"How did you get here so fast?" Cam asked.
"Magic" I simply smiled at him.

After the hack
-
"I need to wash the horses down now, their all sweaty!" I chuckled
"I can help if you want" Cam laughed lightly back to me
"That would be awesome! Thanks Cam" I smiled over to him.
"no problem" he said back.
I was washing Tiggy down when a wet, soapy sponge hit my head.
"HEY!" I said agitated whilst splashing the hose all over him.
Boy, was that a mistake because he came and tipped the whole bucket of water over my head.
I gave Tiggy a carrot and she sneezed it out, landing in Cam's open mouth. his mouth suddenly shut but when he realised what it was he got the hose and put it in his mouth. I suppose that was to wash it out but I'm not sure.
"I better get going" Cam smiled over at me.
"Wait, let me go get my car and I will drive you home." I told him
"That won't be necessary" he lightly chuckled
"You did all that work, you helped me with Rosie, Petal and Cocoa and you had an amazing ride and water fight with me! So I think it is!" I told him
"If you insist then!" He said whilst laughing
"Oh I insist!" I joked around.

The ride to Cam's house was filled with directions and small talk. 
"I like your car." Cam spoke
"Haha, thank you!" I said
"Hey, I had a great day today thanks for every-" I was interrupted with Cam's soft, pink lips connecting with mine for the second time today.
"Bye Kenzie" Cam waved whilst walking through his door.
"Bye Cam" I whispered, knowing he wouldn't hear me.
