Kris rolled over slowly, that hurt. But it was gonna be worth it to see the looks of panic of the faces of their neighbours. But first they had to figure out where they had teleported to. Kris ran their fingers along the ground, it felt hard and rocky. Kris pushed themselves into a sitting position. They could tell at once something was wrong. Everything was grey. Grey rocks, grey path, grey signs. All except the sky, which was black and red. This was not the Dark World, and this wasn't near home either. Maybe Kris should ask someone to see where they are? Yeah, that seemed like the best course of action. A grey path sat nearby, which looked like a pretty solid place to start. Kris stood up and began to follow the path, walking along slowly and examining their surroundings. The path was long and empty. No signs of life anywhere. Where was everyone? What in the world had happened here? Questions bounced around Kris's mind for the entire duration of the walk. Finally, it looked like Kris was getting somewhere. Buildings could be seen in the distance, civilisation. Kris took a pause near the structures. They needed a short break after all that walking. All was silent except for a low buzzing sound. Which was getting louder and louder. Kris turned to see two shapes at the end of the path, rapidly approaching. They perked up, eager to get out of this strange place. Kris moved towards the approaching shapes and raised their hand. Suddenly, one of the shapes flashed past, with enough wind power to knock Kris off their feet. They sat their dazed as the second shape zoomed past. All they could do was roll over to see a sign. A sign with three words written on it
"Welcome to Nevada!"
