Kris slowly opened their eyes. Their head ached, what had happened? They could barely remember anything, and their vision was blurry. After waiting a couple minutes, the room came into focus, or should that be cell. Bars loomed before Kris, casting long shadows over their form. How did they get here? They closed their eyes, trying to think.....ah! That's right! They were hit over the head and knocked out by an agent. The agent must of taken Kris here. Footsteps approached from down the hall and Kris got to their feet. They weren't gonna let anyone see them in a weak state. A man in a cowboy outfit walked up to the bars and peered in, smirking. "Well hell-o there, little human!" He sang cheerfully. Kris glared, although their hair covered their eyes. Then they recognised him, he was the man that Kris had seen when they first arrived in this wacky world. "The boss is gonna have a word with you soon!" He said "oooh, I'm gonna hate to think what he's gonna do to you, my dear!" The man then cackled and walked away. Kris slumped back down, how the hell were they gonna get out of this one? They didn't have their friends here to help them. They sighed, they needed to make a plan, and fast. They closed their eyes to think.....
The bars of the cage rattled and Kris sat up with a start. A black shadowy figure stood in front of the cell. "Good, I have your attention!" They said. "I'm lucky I managed to get my hands on you" he said. Kris didn't respond, just glared from under their fringe. "Oh, not a talker huh?" He taunted. "It's fine if you don't wanna talk, but just letting you know you're not the only one we managed to snag" the figure clicked their fingers, and two more agents appeared at their side, a battered and bloody Deimos propped up between them. Kris's heart dropped, what did they do to him? "We want to run a couple tests on you, and if you don't comply... well, you really don't wanna k so what happens" he said. Kris just stood there, they didn't know how to react, the whole situation felt so hopeless.....
"I'll see you tomorrow, my little lab rat!" He said, turning and walking away, followed by the two agents dragging Deimos.
