At break time, Joel walked down to A10, knowing Ruby and all her friends would be waiting in here for their next class. He walked in and looked around the room. His eyes looked straight over at Ruby with her bouncy, brown hair and huge smile and laugh. He made his way over to that side of the room "Hi" he started.

Everyone stared at Joel and Darcey said "oh, hi Joel! What are you doing here?"

Immediately, Joel freaked out and decided he didn't want to do this right now. Especially not with Niall, Ruby's current boyfriend, right there.

"I- I wanted to ask Darcey if she wanted to see Spiderman Homeless with me this weekend" he blurted out.

"Me?" Darcey asked, shocked.

Ruby grinned "Yes, you! You're name is Darcey, right?! She'd love to, Joel!"

Joel smiled before walking away. Why did he do that?

*Later*

"Ruby, I'm so nervous" Darcey looked at her friend as they were eating lunch "I'm worried about Spiderman Homeless"

"Don't be! He asked you out, he clearly loves you!" She responded.

"What if he asks me to be his girlfriend?" She asked.

Ruby laughed "Ask why it took so long!"

Darcey smiled in response "So, how are you and Niall? You've been with him longer than most other men, is that a good sign?"

"Nope" Ruby sighed "Just worried about Druig..."

"What do you-" she started before she was interrupted by Livia.

"Guys!!!" She ran to the seat beside us before continuing "Lewis and Charlie are the best boyfriends ever"

"Well I dated them both previously and can beg to differ but go on..." Ruby stated.

Livia laughed "They got me tickets to go see [insert something Livia would be excited about, no one knows] next weekend!"

Darcey smiled "Wow. All Joel did was invite me to Spiderman Homeless"

"Ooh I can't wait to go see it!" Livia smiled.

"I've already seen it" Ruby told them "My dad couldn't wait and it's a free cinema ticket soo..."

They all sat in silent before Darcey quietly said "Ya know, Livia? You're a two timing freak" before laughing.

"What?" Livia asked "I'm confused. I'm in a poly relationship not-"

"Oh no I know" Darcey interrupted her "I just like saying it"

"Fair enough" Livia nodded.

"Oh wait guys oh no Niall's coming over" Ruby sighed.

"Oh no Niall" Livia laughed, knowing that Ruby would understand this reference.

Ruby smiled at her "and this is why I'm friends with you"

"Wow thanks"

"Hey guys" Niall sat in the empty seat beside Ruby "hey babe"

"Hi" she half-hugged him.

"You're friends with Joel, right?" Livia asked the boy.

Niall nodded "Yeah, why?"

"Well, he asked Darcey out to see Spiderman Homeless and we want to know what he meant by it"

"Well, we know" Ruby indicated to herself and Livia "But Darcey is unsure"

"Obviously he likes you" Niall looked at the girl "he talks about you constantly. Don't worry, he likes you too. Has for years"

"See? Told you!" Ruby smiled "she was always too scared to talk to him about it though"

"Thanks" Darcey smiled at Niall.

"Anytime" he responded before giving Ruby a small kiss on the head and leaving.

Livia waited until he was far enough away before whispering to Ruby "What was that? I could feel the tension from a different universe"

"I'm getting bored of him. It's the same thing daily and I want to break up with him so bad" she sighed "But I can't!"

"Why not?" Darcey asked "Druig's waiting right there for you and you've never had any bother with breaking up with someone before, what's changed?"

Ruby looked around and lowered her voice "It's Druig. He's... I'm worried..."

Livia looked concerningly at her friend "Why?"

"I've always been the strong one who goes through relationships without many feelings easily" she lied, knowing it. But Darcey and Livia nodded along to make her feel better about whatever she was going through "I've only ever cried over like 3 guys and 2 girls I think"

"And that's a record?" Darcey laughed, before quieting down.

"Anyway" Ruby continued "Before even being in a relationship with him, I feel like I already have feelings for Druig and I'm worried about how they're going to develop in a, or what's supposed to be, a more-or-less feelingless relationship"

"It's going to be ok" Livia smiled at her "you're so strong" she lied "and shouldn't be afraid of things like that. So what if Adam and Luke and Caolan have to wait a month or two? Go live you're life for you, not them!"

Darcey wiped her eyes, jokingly "Go Livia!"

"Also, chase the people who you like cause they're not gonna chase you" Livia turned her head to Darcey "face your fears"

"Moving on" Darcey stood up "Let's go find Emily, Linx, Sam and Carly-"
