"I'm doing it tonight" Ruby walked into form class.

Emily spat out her water "With... With Niall?"

"No- I'm..." She lowered her voice "breaking up with him"

This time, Sam spat out her water. "No way, you're breaking up with another person?!"

"Not funny, Sam. I'm worried about this one... And who is next..."

"She likes Druig more than any of her other relationships" Livia stated, flicking her book over a page. She reads almost as fast as Makkari from Eternals. She has superspeed so that's a lot to say.

Niall walked in and sat beside his girlfriend and smiled "Babe, I have a suprise for you"

Ruby looked worryingly at her unsympathetic friends before turning to him "Really? What is it?"

"Not much, honestly, I don't know why I'm calling it a suprise but just watching a movie and building a fort with popcorn and sweets" he smiled "I know how you said that'd be your dream date"

Ruby looked at him, smiling "That sounds amazing, thank you so much"

Niall kissed her before walking to the other side of the room.

"What do I do?" She asked.

Emily sighed "I dunno, honestly. This is why I recommend staying single"

Just before anyone else could respond, Darcey ran in the class running straight over to Swag.

"He messaged me! Joel messaged me!" she told everyone.

"What did he say?" Sam asked as Livia placed the book, face down, on the table, interested in what Joel had said to Darcey.

Darcey handed the phone to Ruby "You read it out!"

"He said he wanted to take her out to dinner after Spiderman! I told you!"

"What did she say? Yes?" Sam asked.

Darcey nodded "Of course I said yes! I've been waiting years for this!"

"Told you he liked you" Emily smiled. "We all did"

Last night

Joel tried to take his phone off of Adam.

"Adam, I swear, give it back!" He jumped up while the taller boy held it high above his head.

Adam laughed "Nope" before running into the room beside them and shutting the door behind him, ensuring Joel couldn't follow him, leading against the door.

"What are you doing? Adam! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Joel banged against the door.

Adam went onto WhatsApp and scrolled until he found the name he was looking for. He clicked onto her and started typing.

"Hey Darcey so um I was wondering if you wanted to go to get some dinner after Spiderman Homeless this weekend?" Adam laughed after typing the message. He smiled at it and was about to delete the question before Joel barged through the door, moving his thumb to the send button.

"Oh no" Adam mumbled.

Joel looked at him "What? What did you do?"

Adam showed him the phone "I accidentally sent the message"

"Oh no oh no oh no" Joel snatched the phone out of his hand "Why did you do that?"

"I didn't mean to send it! You moved my arm and I accidentally pressed send! She probably hasn't even seen it yet! Quickly, just delete it!"

Joel nodded "You're right" before looking down at his phone to be disappointed by two blue lines "Nope. Too late"

"Has she seen it?" Adam asked, worried.

"Yup" Joel sat down and put his head in his hands "And she said yes"

"Well, you like her? Don't you?"

"Not anymore. Like last year, yes. But now I like Ruby. I actually meant to ask ask her out today but chickened out and asked Darcey out instead-"

Adam laughed "There's now a literal queue waiting to date Ruby at this point. Niall then Druig then me..."

"Lucky" Joel mumbled.

"... then Luke then Caolan" Adam finished.

"Oof" Joel laughed "So you like her too-"

Adam smiled at him "Duh. Look at her. She's so hot"

Joel sighed "So is Darcey... Or maybe not... I don't know anymore"

Adam sat beside him "I was telling Nicholas about how I might've liked Ruby and he gave me good advice. Ask yourself 4 simple questions. Do you think they're pretty? Do you think they're kind? Can you see yourself dating them? Is there anyone you think you may like more than this person? If no to any of these questions, you don't like them. Try it"

"Yeah, I think she's pretty and she is the kindest person ever. I guess I could see us being together and... I'm not sure on the last one..." Joel responded.

"Well then you like her, but like someone else more"

Joel looked up at the door and into Adam's eyes. He knew who he liked more. They both started to lean in before all of a sudden... They were kissing... Eachother.
