"That's where you're wrong" Livia looked at Emily and then to Sam and finally at Carly. Everyone gasped at the shocking words.

"Really? But you guys are the perfect group! Please don't break up!" Emily told her.

Livia looked down before bursting out in laughter "YOU SHOULDVE SEEN YOUR FACES" she lay on the sofa, grabbing her stomach, laughing so much that it clearly hurt "No they're not making me choose, we're happy!" (Ha y'all thought I was gonna ruin lcl nope not on my watch)

"Very funny" Ruby smiled as her phone started to ring "wait, two seconds" she looked at the device "he's calling, get ready"

Everyone looked at her, waiting to see what Niall said to the girl who had 'forgotten' about her plans with her boyfriend. Everyone went silent and Ruby answered the call "oh my god Niall I am so-"

"Don't, Ruby" he interrupted her "I know you're sorry and that's fine, I forgive you. I should've given you longer in advance"

Everyone's mouth dropped open. He was just gonna let her off with that? It's gonna be hard to break up with him when he's being this nice...

"Thank you" Ruby said through gritted teeth "I got distracted and I'm having a sleepover now so I'll call you back later?"

"No problem! Love you" Everyone heard Niall say before Ruby quickly hung up before she could respond.

"Did he just-"

"Yup"

"But-"

"Yup. The first time he ever told me he loved me was over the phone, when I just ditched our date and when I want to break up with him!" She confirmed.

Livia laughed "Oof"

"Anyway, let's continue. It's your go"

"Sam. Georgia, Darcey, Bella. Go" Livia asked the short girl.

"Uhh" Sam thought "Kill Bella probably. Kiss Darcey and marry Georgia"

Ruby smiled at her "Ooooh"

Samantha rolled her eyes "Ruby, then. Druig, Makkari, Owen"

"Kill Owen, obviously" the curly haired girl responded, instantly "And... Oooh... Kiss Makkari and marry Druig probably"

"Well, it may not be marrying him but all you have to do is break up with Niall and you can date him" Livia pointed out.

Ruby sighed "I should probably break up with him, he's such a nice guy and deserves someone who actually likes him"

Everyone nodded before she shook her head and tuned back into the game.

"Emily. Adam, Lewis, Charlie"

Livia gasped, sarcastically "My boyfriends being taken by my best friend! What about the rule?!"

"The rule of not dating any of your best friends exes?" Sam laughed "Well then, you're breaking it times two!" They indicated to how Ruby used to date Lewis and Charlie.

Livia struggled for her words for a moment before responding with "Well so would everyone! You would too, Sam! Ruby also dated-" she stopped after slipping half of that out without meaning to "Oh-"

"What?" Samantha looked at her friend "You dated... But you... When?"

Ruby gave Livia a death glare and she responded with an apologetic look "Sam, we really don't need to talk about this..."

"Don't" Carly told the curly haired girl "I want to listen to this drama. When did you date-"

"Last year? Ok!" Ruby blurted out "Do you really need to know!"

"Preferably, yes. Especially since you knew I liked her since fourth year! I didn't even know you liked her!" Sam got angry.

Emily tried to calm them down "Sam... Chill out... It's ok"

"No! No it's not ok! Did you know? You knew, didn't you?!"

Emily didn't say anything, answering Sam's question with many words.

Sam turned to Ruby "You told Livia and Emily but not me? And you still haven't told me?"

"I only told them two because they found out" the girl lied "I didn't want you finding out because I didn't want our friendship to get ruined"

Sam nodded "That's understandable... How long did you guys date for? And how did you even start dating?"

Ruby glanced to Livia and then to Emily, who both knew the full truth. The full truth that Ruby didn't exactly want Sam to know "Uh... I... I don't wanna talk about it"

"Was it a bad break up? I swear, if she broke your heart and you couldn't tell me for any reason I'll break up with her-"

"No, no Sam" Ruby smiled, thinking about the memories she had with this person "I- it didn't end badly, actually better than most of my relationships... I just... I'm not in the mood right now? Can we go back to the game?"

Sam understood and after a quick moment turned back to Emily "So, answer the question! Adam, Charlie and Lewis" She knew Ruby would tell her someday...

And Ruby knew she wouldn't... Not now, not ever... Samantha can never know what happened last year when she and... She can't even bare to say her name... Or what the did...
