Adam was standing in the queue at lunch before he felt a small person standing beside him "Luke? Hey, um- sorry about-"
"Stop." Luke stopped him "He found out"
"Who?"
"He saw your little 'make her jealous' act earlier I knew I should've said no!"
Adam turned to face him fully "Luke, who?"
"Nicholas" Luke explained "We're... Dating now. And he found out that you kissed me, he must've seen!"
Adam took a deep breath "First of all, I'm happy for you two. Second of all, did you explain why I kissed you?"
Luke nodded "He didn't believe me"
Adam rubbed his hand down his face "I'll explain to him" while taking his food from the dinner lady "Hopefully he'll understand"
Later
"Nicky" Adam called over his friend "I swear, I only kissed Luke to make someone jealous"
Nicholas rolled his eyes "Sure, sure... And you decided to kiss him? You're literally straight, why not kiss Anna or Rebecca or someone who is believable that you like?"
'Straight' was he though? "Because he was right there!"
"Did you need to do it straight away though?"
"Yes! Look, Nicky, you don't understand... Please... Trust me, the kiss meant nothing"
Nicholas sighed "Fine" before turning to his boyfriend "I know you wouldn't cheat on me anyway, I was just being paranoid" (thanks Carly)
Luke walked up and gave his bf a hug before kissing him quickly.
"I live for this" Adam grinned "Oh god I'm turning into Ruby-"
"So, whose the lucky girl?" Luke asked "You never actually told me"
'Girl' lol.
"Uhh... Ruby" Adam lied "I've waited a few months in this queue now, trying to make her jealous"
Nicholas sighed "If we knew you were gonna lie to us, we wouldn't have asked"
Adam shook his head "You know me too well" before telling them everything that happened the night before at none other than Joel Farquar's house and it's safe to say, their jaws were on the ground.
"So... Are you, like, gay?" Luke asked.
Adam shook his head "No, I'm way too attracted to Ruby for that"
"Unless" Nicholas smirked "I'm so sorry I shouldn't assume that about people- what about bi?"
"Maybe" Adam shrugged his shoulders "I might have to do some research on it..."
"Do you find yourself attracted to him?" Luke questioned "Try doing the four steps"
The boy looked down to think about Joel. "Attractive, yeah I guess so. Kind, yup. And I do see myself with him and..." He thought about it. He didn't get excited when Ruby said she was breaking up with Niall soon. He got so jealous when he saw Darcey and Joel together and... And he even kissed a taken man just to try and make Joel feel exactly how he had made him feel "And no... I don't like anyone more than him"
"Adam..." Nicholas laughed slightly "You know what that means, right?"
Adam nodded, still staring at his feet "I like Joel and I'm not straight"
Meanwhile
"Please please please" everyone gathered around Emily's phone as they saw the three dots meaning her mother was typing. Everyone crossed their fingers, toes and even eyes, hoping the message would be what they wanted.
"Fine! Enjoy!" The message read.
"YESS!!" Everyone cheered.
Linx checked their phone "I can't come. My mom is... Making me stay at home"
"We all know that's not true" Carly laughed.
Ruby smiled "Its fine if you don't want to come, that's understandable"
"I can't come either" Darcey told them "My parents told me no because they don't trust that I'm not sleeping over at Joel's"
"Oof" Ruby said "But you're not married... Yet-" she joked.
"Time for class" Livia sighed as she checked the time on her phone.
"You have a watch, you know?" Sam pointed out.
End of the day
"Thanks dad" Livia grabbed her sleepover stuff out of her dad's car "See you tomorrow"
Everyone went inside and threw their stuff in Ruby's living room "You ready?"
Everyone set their belongings on a sofa or on the two blow-up mattresses (again, thank you Carly) in the centre.

The ones outlined in pink/purple are sofas and the ones outlined in blue are matteresses.
Purple is Ruby, Green is Livia, Red is Carly, White is Emily and Yellow is Sam.
Ruby turned on the TV while everyone got comfortable in their chosen positions and scrolled through Disney+
"Eternals, High School Musical, High School Musical 2, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, High School Musical The Musical The Series, folklore long pond studio session-" she read out some things.
"No to all of them" Sam sighed.
"What about we play kiss kill marry" Ruby suggested with a smile.
Livia rolled her eyes "Ya know what, fine"
"Ok. Me first" Emily sat up "Carly. Eva, Darcey, Sam"
"Ok so I can't kill or marry Darcey because Joel would kill but I also can't kill her so I'd kiss her, kill Eva and marry Sam"
Sam laughed "Carly, I'm a taken woman!"
Carly smiled before looking at Livia "Livia. Not a kiss kill marry but if you had to choose a boyfriend... Who?"
Livia looked shocked at the question "I- I don't know... I've never thought about it..." She started breathing really deeply "Charlie is so kind and so is Lewis but-" she continued to rant but faster than Ruby when she's presenting an English speech so no one could make out what she was saying.
"Chill out, Livia" Ruby stopped her "It's fine, they're not actually asking you to choose"
Livia looked up at her "That's where you're wrong"
