I was on the phone with Miss.Williams to tell her Kate was with me, and to try and foster her and then adopt her.
"ok so your telling me you want to foster Kate, correct?" she said in a disgusted tone
"Yes, that is correct. I want to foster Kate. Is that a problem?" I asked
"I just want to let you know that Kate is really damaged. I mean she gets panic attacks, nightmares, anxiety, ADHD, PTST, trust issues. She's just really damaged! Do you still want her after all that?" she asked disgustingly
"You seriously just said a 6 year old child was damaged, do you know insulting that is to a child." i said very tired of her
"i didn't mean to put it that way but she has a lot of stuff complicating her life and complicating her trying to get comfortable in foster homes" she said
"nothing will complicate it. she will be fine, so send me the damn paper to sign so I can come get her stuff and we can leave all this behind us!" I said raising my voice a little bit
" ok can I get your email for you to sign the papers"
" yes its. *********" I said giving my email
"ok I just sent you the papers"
"Scarlett?" a little voice said
Kate's POV
I was watching Mako Mermaids when i heard Scarlett yelling at someone
"nothing will complicate it. she will be fine, so send me the damn paper to sign so I can come get her stuff and we can leave all this behind us!" she said yelling
I went to see what she was yelling about, so I looked for the remote and hit paused. I then got up and went upstairs and looked for the office.
it took a while to find it because I haven't fully looked around yet.
I opened the door and her computer was open, it was some kind of document and she was on the phone.
"Scarlett?" I asked
"I'll send you the signed papers, ill be there at 10:00am to get her stuff, I got to go ." she said hanging up the phone
"hey sweetie, I thought you were watching tv?" she asked facing her weekly chair toward me
"I was, I heard yelling."
"ok well, everything is fine, and all I got to. do is sign the papers and then tomorrow we can collect your stuff. Sound like a plan, Love?" she asked
"ok!" I said
"ok how about we watch a movie before dinner"
"ok! what movie?" I asked excitedly
"hm let's see! how about....Spy Kids!" she said enthusiastically as she picked up putting me on her hip as she walled out of the office, and walking down the stairs
"Yay! I love that movie! I said excitedly
As she walked down the stairs to the living room I grew extremely exhausted, so I played my head on Scarlett's shoulder.
I soon fell into a deep, deep sleep.
Scarlett's POV
I had Kate on my hip walking down the stairs when she laid her head on my shoulder, she must have been exhausted from her nightmare. I set her on the couch and put a blanket over her I sat down putting Kate's head on my lap and taking out my phone a going to instagram (I know she doesn't have instagram or a neither social media but just roll with it.)
I decided to post and tell the world about the adoption.
