we got home from speaking to Kate's birth father, god, it was such a mess

flashback to earlier today

"hello, Katherine ."

"h-h-h-hi."

"you look so beautiful, Katie . "

"don't, daddy. you don't get to call me that anymore."

"what, why? did I do something, Katie?"

"yes, you know what you did."

"what, hit you? you deserved it."

" n-n-no, I d-did not."

" hehe 'n-n-no' I see your still st-st-stuttering mess." he said mocking me

"you deserved everything that happened to you." he said as my eyes were watering

"is there something you wanted to say, because I can have you be escorted out."

"what I just wanted to see my babygirl. is that a crime

"I'm not your 'babygirl' I HATE YOU!"

"SHUT UP YOU SELFISH BRAT. I WILL KILL YOU BITCH!"

end flashback

now we are just chilling in the apartment, we were watching a movie, but Kate fell asleep, laying her head on my lap, and rose went to her room, and then Colin got called into do some work stuff in the city.

flashback to 30 minutes ago

"make sure the story that they write goes, once upon a a girl tried harder" the girl on the tv sings

I looked down and Kate is asleep. rose looked over a few seconds later and got up from the couch

"wait, rose, where are you going, you don't want to finish the movie?"

"no, im going to my room"

"well o-" I said before getting interrupted by a phone ringing

it was Colins

"I'm sorry babe, I have to go to go to work in the city"

"it's okay, it's not your fault, be safe, love you"

flashback end

so, now, im just chilling on the couch. when I scroll and see Kate, my daughter.

um okay, why is there just a photo of her and not me? super weird. 

suddenly I feel moving, and I look down and I see that Kate is up

"hey sleepyhead, how was your nap?"

"it was good" Kate said sleepily

" ok well, we have to get all packed up, we are going home tomorrow! "

"okay!" she said standing up as I held her hand

we walked to her room and I put her suitcase on her bed and unzipped it and opened it.

"okay start packing, I'll be right back. I have to talk to your sister"

"okay mommy!"

I walked out of the room shutting the door and walking to rose's room. I knocked on the door

"come in" rose said

I opened the door 

"hey, we are leaving pretty early tomorrow, so get started on packing up"

" okay mom"

"please be nicer to her sister, she has been through a lot, I know she would really appreciate it"

"okay, I will, Im sorry mom"

"I'm not the one you should be apologizing to."

the next night (bc I am lazy)

kates POV

"goodnight my darling, I love you" mommy said 

"goodnight mommy! goodnight daddy"

"goodnight princess" daddy said

A/N 

so sorry I was gone, I have been really busy, so the next chapter is probably going to be my last chapter, I just need help on writing the ending, so if anyone has any ideas on what the final chapter should be please comment. I might be making another story, it's going to be based on one of my drs, so I will post option on what you want to see after the story is done. school starts on Monday. I actually have a lot to do, I am my be safe, make sure you eat, make sure you drink plenty of water, and please make sure to get some sleep.
