Kates POV
I woke up to mommy gently shaking me up as always. but I felt awful. and not in a guilty way, in a sick way.
"good morning precious!" mommy said
"mm" I groan
"you ok, baby?" mommy asks
"I dont feel good. my stomach, throat, and head hurts." I say
"oh really? ok stay here. I'll get a thermometer." mommy said leaving the room
"ok, mommy."
a few minutes later she came in with a thermometer.
"ok open wide, tounge up." mommy said
I did what mommy told me
"just what I thought, you have a 101.3 fever, how about you rest, ok honey. I'll make you some oatmeal. it'll soothe your throat."
"ok mommy."
fifteen minutes later she came back with a bowl of oatmeal, with strawberries, and a glass of water.
"here you go baby."
I ate the oatmeal and the strawberries and took a sip of water. I then took a nap.
when I woke up I looked at the clock and it read '12:23'
mommy came in and put a warm towel on my forehead
"your awake, how did was your nap? are you feeling better?" she asked
" a little."
"ok here why dont we watch some cartoons?"
"ok"
mommy then put on some cartoons
I fell asleep, again.
"sleep well, sweet girl." mommy said kissing my forehead
hours later
I woke up to someone gently shaking me. I though it was mommy, but to my surprise it was Rosie.
"hey sis, you feeling better. sorry I haven't been around much lately. I've been pretty busy." Rosie said jumping in bed next to me
"its ok, how was your day?" I asked
"good, I got an A on my project."
"really?"
"yea"
"how was your day?"
"fine, I slept most of the day though."
"oh, yea I heard."
"what time is it?" I asked
"almost dinner. five-fifteen."
"oh, ok."
just then mommy came in with a bowl of Mac and cheese.
"here you go princess." mommy said
"thanks mommy"
"no problem, baby"
"daddy will be in just a minute to tuck you in"
"ok"
I ate my Mac and cheese and put the bowl on my night stand. daddy then walked in.
"goodnight princess, I love you!" daddy said
"goodnight daddy, I love you"
"goodnight, I love you!" mommy said
"goodnight mommy, I love you"
I then fell asleep
