After days lying unconscious Chell finally awoke to the stars in the night sky. At first it seemed as if she was dreaming but the throbbing in her head made it clear she wasn't.
Rick had finally got the chance to leave Aperture and had wondered off somewhere. He had his own adventures to go on now. Whereas Fact had opted to stay behind and keep GLaDOS company. After all entirety was an awful long time for her to be alone.
But Wheatley hadn't left her. He had sat by her side starring out into the distances. What was he supposed to do now that he was free? There was so much out there. So much to see.
"Where do we go from here?" He half asked her and half asked himself. It didn't matter where they went to her. At last she truly had what she had been searching for. Her freedom and a true friend to share it with.
"Anywhere we like" They picked a direction that they simply had a good feeling about and walked into the night ready to take science into the future.
