Meet the CEO

Jennie's POV

When I parked my car at Lisa's company address, I decided not to tell her that I already arrived, I want to talk to the CEO first, I am nervous but doing backgroud check on me is not a good idea even though I know he won't have anything of me when it comes to the internet aside from the pictures taken when me and Lisa were spotted together.

"Hi Ms. How can I help you?" The receptionist asked when I came to view, I smiled at her.

"I'm here to see the CEO" She smiled at me.

"Do you have appointment to him, Ms?" I shook my head infront of her.

"I don't, but he's expecting me, can you contact him and tell him i'm here to show myself?" She blinked hesistantly if she would do me the favor, she cleared her throat.

"Your name, Ms.?" Oh.

"Dial his number then i'll talk to him myself" She stared at me disbelief "He knows me, just please" I just can't say my name, she heaved a sighed but still obliged.

"Ahm Hello Sir, i'm sorry to disturbed but there is someone here who wanted to talk to the CEO ... " She waited for the answer "Ahm... she doesn't want to tell her name, Sir. But she wants to talk to the CEO herself" She looked at me again, I gestured her to give me the phone, she hesitantly hand me the phone.

"Hi, is this the CEO?" I asked.

"This is his secretary, Ms. Why don't you drop your name so I could tell the CEO who he is...-" I cuts him right away.

"Tell him that I was the one he wants to know" the other line silence and the person at the information desk looked at me in disbelief.

"17th floor, i'll be welcoming you here and will assist you to his office".

"Thank you" I gave the phone back to her "Thank you, he told me to go up the 17th floor" She just nodded at me and looked me still disbelief that it's easy for me to turn the table around.

When I reached the 17th floor I was welcomed by another information desk and I supposed a conference room at the right side.

"Good morning, i'm Lim Tae-Hi, Mr. Im's Secretary and you are?" He lend his hand for a handshake, I accepted his hand.

"Nice to meet you, but ahm i'll introduced myself to the CEO, is that alright?" He stared at me for a while if I am serious but still guided me through the only door at the end of the hallway.

"Mr. Im is waiting for your arrival, Ms." I just thanked him before I knocked and open the door, inside is a huge office, walls were all glass that could see the whole city underneath, at the left side where the couch or the visitor's lounge, aside from that was I supposed a mini kitchen and at the right part is where the huge wooden desk and a swivel chair of the CEO.

"Eherm" I cleared my throat since the CEO is facing at the glass window so I could only see the back of his chair and his hair, the swivel chair turned around revealing a man in his 30's.

he looks younger than I thought

"Hi, Welcome to the BBC entertainment, please have a sit" I nodded and obliged sitting infront of his chair "They told me you want to meet me personally, How may I help you?" I then again cleared my throat.

"Yes, but I believed you ask to know who I was first" yes, I am that confident.

He stared at me disbelief on how I talked casually to him "Fair enough, so you are?" I rosed up from the seat and lend my hand.

"Jennie Kim, the person you want to know, Lisa's friend, I believed you already did a background check on me?" He was just staring at me so I continued "But ofcourse you wouldn't have a piece of me on the internet, want to know why?" He raised his eyebrow at me as I pulled back my hand and straighten my stand "try searching for "Ruby Jane Kim" the second child of the president of South Korea" his eyes widened at what I said, he instantly stood up and I can see that he was now trembling.
