Welcome drink

Jennie's POV

I'm getting ready to head home when someone knocked at my office door, since I was ready to go, I was the one who opened the door to see who is behind.

"Hi Ms. Kim" Momo waved at me when I came into view.

"Hey, do you need something?" I asked, I noticed that she has her bag clung in her shoulder too.

"Yeah, we were wondering if you want to join us for a few drinks to welcome Mr. Choi?" Then I notice that all of the department team are behind her waiting for my answer, I looked at my wrist watch to see that it is still early, i'm not the type to just get drunk into event like this, but I don't want to ruin their fun.

"Yeah, Sure." They all cheered in unison, so we all decided to get out together.

"Ms. Kim, we don't have a ride, can you give us a lift?" Momo and Jeongyeon asked.

"Sure" They even clapped in excitement, before I drove off I texted Alex my plan for tonight he just replied, they were on tail.

Lisa hasn't texted me yet still since her photoshoot started so I pressumed the shoot is still ongoing.

"Ms. Kim, do you mind if we ask?" Jeongyeon utter at the back seat, I looked at her in the rear view and nodded for her to continue "Are you still single?" I hesitated, but I heard them both giggled.

"Y-yeah, I guess so" I plainly uttered.

"But you're seeing someone, no?" Momo said after.

"Yeah, the one who fetch you last time?" Jeongyeon seconded, they are referring to Lisa when she was just got back from her vacation "She's special right?" My lips automatically crept into genuine smile.

"You're smiling!" Momo exclaimed, I just shook my head to hide my embarrassment "She definitely is! Can you invite her? She looks cool and we just want to be friend" I glimpsed at her, should I invite her? But it's impossible, she's a famous celebrity.

"A-ahm I don't think she can make it, she's a very busy person" it's somehow right.

"Aww, but can you atleast try, Ms. Kim?" Jeongyeon wasn't the one who gave up easily, I was about to declined once again but a call rang in my car.

"Oh! I think it's her!" Momo exclaimed looking at the dash monitor, fuck it! my phone is automatically connected when i'm inside, Lili's name showed at the car monitor "Answer it Ms. Kim, and ask her" Momo was excited, hesitant but I still accepts her call.

"Hey pretty" Momo and Jeongyeon giggled whisper.

"Hey" I nervously greeted back.

"Is your work done? Do you want me to fetch you?" She doesn't seem to know that i'm not alone.

"Yeah, actually we're heading to have a few drinks to welcome our new architect" I informed.

"Oh" She silence at the other line "Isn't it too early for a drink? Have you eaten some dinner at least?" She's the sweetest.

"Not yet, but i'm sure we'll eat dinner first before we order some drinks" I saw Momo nodded in my peripheral.

"Can you text me the adress so I know where you are incase?" Her voice soften more.

"Yeah sure" Momo tugged my sleeves and mouthed ask her please so I sighed "Ahm Li, I have a company with me right now" she hummed in the other line.

"Hi! We are Ms. Kim's co workers, we just asked Ms. Kim to give us a lift, i'm Momo by the way".

"And Jeongyeon here" Jeongyeon even waved at the back even though Lisa can't see them.
