Ghosted

Jennie's POV

It's been week since I started working at Frinché's Architectural, though i'm still having a hard time adjusting, still i'm trying and improving, my team is starting to loosen up a bit to me, we were having some talks too when we are on break or if we decided to hanged out after work hours.

Lisa and I only talk a few on the phone since our country time isn't the same, we exchanged conversation through text too, and to be honest I really really missed her, I know she's having her vacation at her home with her family, swiss news or other daily updates regarding to her, stops when she landed at switzerland, they were true to their words to give Lisa some time off to be at peace, every celebrity or well knowned person should experience that when they are havjng their vacation even in just a span of time off their work.

She hadn't replied to me since last night and this whole day, this is my last day for the week and i'm starting to pack my things and was ready to go home now, and probably enjoy my weekends.

I'm kinda exhausted in my first week working!

I just texted Alex to wait me at the lobby floor since I didn't bring my car earlier and was too tired to drive off so I just asked Alex to dropped me off and picked me up, Alex replied that he was already waiting for me at the lobby so I hopped on the lift and pressed the Ground floor button.

Hearing the ding of the lift, I started walking going out of the building and searched for Alex or the car he was using but none.

I was ready to dial his number and asked him where he is.

"Ms. Kim" I looked at the person calling for me, Seulgi.

"Hey" I answered, she walked near me, I just noticed that half of the team is with her.

"Ms. Kim, I thought you aren't going home yet" She stated when they gets near me "But here you are, actually we're going to have a few drinks, do you want to join us?" She asked excitedly.

"Come on, Ms. Kim. It's weekend tomorrow so this is the best time to unwind" Jeongyeon encouraged.

"Oh" I don't know what to say, should I go? "I--" I was about to answer them when someone held my hands.

"Is it okay if she refuse for now? We actually have plans for tonight" I looked at the familiar voice, she was wearing a white hoodie, black sweat pants, a black mask.

"Oh, y-yeah sure. Sorry we just thought she's free" Seulgi nervously uttered, This girl holding my hand is a bit taller than her or everyone else, and she looks intimidating with just her eyes showing.

"Ahh we'll go, Ms.Kim. bye!" Momo and others waved at us goodbye and I just smiled at them and waved back, we just stared at them until they are a bit far.

I looked at my hand that she was still holding and looked up to see her looking at me too.

"Hi" She started and to my surprise she lifted a red rose infront of me.

I couldn't help it, I throw myself at her.

"I can't believed you!" I complained and hugged her even tighter "You literally ghosted me since last night, then you'll just show up here, snatching me from my co-workers?" I was soon 'bout to cry, I felt her arms wrapped around me and she caressed my back softly.

"I'm sorry, I wanted to surprise you. Last night was my flight, so i'm sorry for not replying. You know phones are off during boarding" She longly explained "i've missed you, Nini" She swayed our body a bit causing me to calmed myself.

We stayed there for a bit, I was just engulping her scent from her hoodie, she let me buried my face at her neck.

"Nini, I actually made a reservation, can we go now?" She broke the silent causing me to pull away with a hurry that she was shocked for a bit.
