Worthy

Jennie's POV

I was awaken by the continues knock on my bedroom door, unaware that I dozed off to sleep.

"Sweety?" I heard my mom calling me outside, I get up brushing my eyes softly to adjust on the beamed of the light in my bedroom, I slowly opened the door "Hey, sorry to disturb your sleep, but the food is served, come on join us for lunch" I nodded at her and says i'll follow after I fix myself, after I closed the door, I walked to my bathroom to washed my face and brushed my teeth.

"Unnie!" Jessi quickly came to hug me as I nearing the dining table at the blue house.

"Hi, Jess. How is my younger sister?" I kneeled to leveled her height.

"Good, i've missed you" She wrapped her arms around my nape again for a hug, as I soothe her back.

"Missed you too, baby" She pulled away and dragged me in a seat beside her, Mom and Dad just smiled at me and I returned the same smile for them as the helpers are beginning to served my plates.

"How's your place?" Dad started bringing the fork in his mouth for the first taste of the buttered chicken.

"Good, very good father" I assured, he nodded.

"Maybe I can pay a visit sometime. If you need anything you can ju-" I didn't let him finish.

"Father, really. I'm fine, I can take care of my own" So full of his possessiveness, he sighed.

"How about your work? Are you still flying to paris?" This time Mom asked giving Jessi some juice.

"Nope, I already took the company's branch in here" I blankly answered.

"Really?" Mom widened her eyes, while father leave his mouth agaped as he was ready to bring the spoonful rice in his mouth but got stopped on what I said.

"Yup, I don't really have to fly to paris since I am taking the branch here in seoul" I continued eating.

"Well, that's good to hear" Mom said happily.

"Oh, yeah. Jack and his wife is already on their way, maybe they will get on time for dinner" Dad informed, I didn't really payed much attention to what he said, Mom and Dad was the one talking and just question me a few but they didn't bring Jack's topic during lunch since they know that I am still not comfortable talking when it includes my brother *sighed*.

After lunch I get back on my room and busied myself studying on a possible knowledge I can bring for my monday first day at work, up until I didn't notice that it's already dawn and Mom is again knocking on my door for me to join them on dinner.

As I am walking near the blue house kitchen, I can now hear their talks and laughters beaming the kitchen hall.

"Sweety, come sit" Father approached me as soon as he sees me, Jessi waved at me hello as I answered that in a small smile and Mom too who's side eyeing my brother jack who is now on the other side of the table, I sat next to Jessi again.

"Jennie, it's good to see you here" I heard Jack uttered, I can feel his gazed in me, I grabbed the glass water and gulped all the inside as I response him with a nod.

"Jennie, that is Mica, your brother's wife" Father introduce the latter to me, I can see the girl rosed up from her seat to get near me when my phone rang.

It was Lili

"Hi, sorry to be rude, but I need to take this call" I excused myself from them without accepting the latters hand, as my face lit up seeing Lili's caller name.

I quickly accepted the call when I know i'm now a bit far from the table.

"Hi, Lili" I started happily.
