Breakfast Delivery

Jennie's POV

I came earlier than my expected schedule at the Architectural firm, luckily the parking is still secured since some people are still gathered outside around the firm, probably waiting for me. I cannot believed that they are so dedicated to have a piece of me.

"Miss Kim, you're early" I was surprised to see Calix who were earlier than me though, he was just about to step out our departments pantry handing a cup of coffee i supposed.

"You are aswell" He just smiled at me.

"Want me to brew you a coffee?" He lifted his cup offering. I shook my head as a response.

"I'll get it myself after I drop by my office" he nodded so I started to walked past him and headed straight to my office but stopped when he talked again.

"Do you want me to hand you a print out of the documents for the meeting later?".

"That's a good idea, thank you" he mouthed okay and let me go straight to my office. Our client is expecting to be here before lunch so we still have a lot of time to finalize our project plans and to double check the possible needs to fix and organize. This is my first big project so i'm very nervous since I don't want to fail this under my command.

I am revising the other detail in my laptop when I heard a knocked on my office door "Come in!" I yelled without even bothering looking up to see the person behind the door.

"Ms Kim" that's where I bother to looked at Momo, seeing her all smiles with her all white teeth showing, I know that she has something good with her.

"Yes?" I arched both of my eyebrows, looking very confused since she didn't get in, but just remained peeking at my door with her head and slight body showing.

"Did you have breakfast already?" Shoot! I totally forgot to get myself a coffee.

"Right, what time is it?" I looked at my wrist watch to see that it's past 7 in the morning already, I mentally slapped my forehead for being pre-occupied "I haven't" I massaged my temple after and removed my reading glasses to let my eyes rest for a while.

"Good, cause there's something delivered under your name" she was so excited lifting a paper bag and a cup of coffee, my eyes widen and my eyes fixed at the things she placed down at my desk.

"Delivered?" I asked curiously, she nodded vigorously, I can see how excited she was and how happy she is even though these are for me "From who?" I creased my eyebrow to her, she turned the coffee cup showing the messaged 'Good Luck!'.

"Perhaps this would answer your question" she reached for her back pocket and handed me three red roses, my mouth leave agaped, amused. "I believed there's a note inside that paper bag so you can identify from who it was" she wiggled her eyebrow playfully, I just shook my head but reached to open the paper bag and there lay a card.

"Good Morning Pretty Nini! I hope these sandwiches can uplift your mood and give you extra energy for your presentation later. Eat breakfast love, and please be safe! I love you!

Ps. Give me a call if you want to have dinner with me later!"

My lips form a widest smile after I read the message, of course it was from my girlfriend. "Oh, your wide smile says it all that it was from your lover" Momo teases me but I just let her and laughed with her, I know i'm blushing right now, world be damned, My mood really uplift just reading her message, that sweet beautiful thing! I didn't know she has this kind of sweetness in her.

"Thank you, Momo" She playfully saluted to me and excused herself, as soon as the door closed, I reached for my phone and quickly dialed her number.

"Hello, Beautiful!" I chuckled hearing her joyful greetings.
