Chapter 16

Ben POV

I held out. I tried so hard. For my girls. I'd lasted for, I don't know how long anymore. Their control was getting stronger. Soon I wouldn't be able to resist their power. Soon they would turn me. I had to hope someone would come through soon. Because I have no idea if I could turn back.

Quinn POV

I looked at my beautiful mate sleeping next to me. She had her arms wrapped around her belly, cradling our child.

I wrote her a note, telling her where I went. I wasn't going to wake her when she would try to convince me to let her come along. I had been organising this secret since Stacey came back a week ago. I let her back into our pack.

Mine and Phil's men were waiting outside in shorts.

"You're late man" Phil says.

"Ally is going to kill me. Then you. Then Lilly for not telling her." I tell him amused.

He physically paled at statement as if just remembering how powerful my Luna is.

We prepared our men and the unmated she-wolfs that wanted to fight.

Stacey said they planned an attack today. We were going to ambush them. We out numbered the Kings men 2 to 1. They thought they could take us individually. We would show them. We even had enough wolves to stay behind and look after the mates, children and refugees. We moved the refugees into the main houses this morning.

"Quinn!"

Ugh I turned around to find Julian and his bloodsuckers walking out.

"We don't have time Julian. This needs to be taken care of." I tell him.

"We are joining you Alpha Quinn. The sooner this is taken care off the sooner we can get off your land." He says.

"Leave some of your vampires behind to look after the people. We leave to ambush in 5 minutes." I order.

"Of course" he replies turning around to face his coven. He nods at two vampires and one goes to each pack house.

Sure enough, 5 minutes later, everyone was ready and we left to go to war with the king of the werewolf's.

I know another short one but I wanted to get up one before the weekend. I probably won't get a chance to upload as I'm doing a bunch of wedding stuff :)
