Chapter 8

So here's chapter 8. I know at least two people have read all the way to the last chapter.

I'd just really appreciate some feedback. And I'm not getting it. So this might be my last chapter for a while. I just wanna know if I'm wasting my time or not.

So yeah, anyway hope you enjoy the update.

Ally POV

"I want to come with you, those are my people Quinn," I said to him. I was not going to let this go. I was a light witch. I needed to support my people in their time of need.

Quinn grabbed my hand. My time with him alone would have to wait. Hopefully not too long.

He kept hold of it as we made our way from his office to the pack lounge. There were several people lingering in the hallway, all trying to get a look in the lounge. They moved out of our way as we walked. They bowed their head in respect to Quinn and Kobe but examined me with scrutiny. Some of the younger fem-wolfs didn't try to hide their scowls when they saw my hand in his. Normally I would have hidden behind Quinn as these are people I don't know, but I felt a surge of strength through me and kept my head high.

I heard a growl, surprisingly it came from Kobe. "Show respect to your Luna!" He said menacingly to the fem-wolfs scowling at me. Everyone looked taken aback by Kobe's words and stood down, the girls bowing their heads. He turned to me and winked.

At least I knew I had back up with him. Quinn also growled at his pack. A look of disappointment crossing his face when he looked at them.

We entered the pack lounge. There were 10 light witches looking beaten. There was one that particularly drew my attention. "Arabella!" I yelled and went to her side. Mum had her laying on the lounge chair.

Arabella is my half-sister. My father, mums mate, cheated on her after a heated blew sent him to the pub. He broke their bond that night. I can still sense the pain in her heart. He never came home. He moved across the country, his vicious-hussy followed him. That woman had been after my father since before he and mum got together. He resisted her for a while when he moved. He and mum had been talking about him moving back, when he found out about Vickie's pregnancy. That threw a spanner in getting my family back together.

Arabella was only 14, 5 years younger then me. Vickie is a human. Making her a half super. These kind of half supers are common. Most don't even know. They are essentially human, some develop powers, some don't.

My sister did.

"Awh baby, what happened?" I asked her softly. I loved her completely. She was my sister and I couldn't blame her for our fathers actions.

"Daddy said we had to leave, it wasn't safe anymore. We were coming to get you and mamma Beth. He said there was danger. We started our travels, came across others like us. It was safer together. We were nearly inside the pack borders when we were jumped by the witches. They beat us all pretty bad and took who they wanted. They left me because they thought I was more human and not a threat.. Ally they took Daddy.." She sobbed.

"Shh baby we will get him back. Where's Vickie?" I asked

"You know mum, ever so reliable, she bolted as it started.. She didn't want this world..." Arabella said softly. She was always disappointed in her mothers actions.

"You will be taken care of here little sister. I promise."

Then I turned to the rest of my kind. "I would like to hear all of your stories of what has happened today. You will stay in this house until you are well enough for your own."

I felt arms wrap around me. "Well done my Luna," Quinn whispered in my ear. This shocked me to reality. I have never been this forward before. I guess a part of me is waking up I never knew existed.

"I am Quinn, Alpha of this pack. Ally is my mate. We will do everything we can to track your taken families and bring them home safe. Any information you can give will be helpful. Please talk to my Beta, Kobe."

He began to pull me away.

"Pack meeting, 10 minutes! Kobe you are excused. Beth you are too if you wish." Quinn stated.

"Mum isn't part of your pack Quinn." I pointed out to him.

"Maybe not officially, but she is your mother. And it's our pack now, angel." he said softly with a smile.

10 minutes later we were standing in front of Quinn's pack. Pack meeting were held in a hall attached to the pack house. I was taken by surprise with the sheer vastness of the hall. I was more surprised when the hall started to fill with were's.

One everyone was seated Quinn went to the front and stood at the microphone.

"The situation outside our pack borders has become dangerous. No pack members are permitted to leave the borders until we have a plan in place. I will not risk any of you being taken from us forcefully. Unmated wolves are especially at risk. We do not want ANY risk. And we do not want you to be forced into another pack. We are essentially at war, not only with other Supernaturals but with our own kind. We have supers seeking refuge within our lands. These people are under our protection. Set aside your differences and extend a friendly hand. You seem to forget that while we have not had to leave our lands, they have had to escape to safety. Support your new family."

Quinn looked down at me and smiled. He reached out his hand, in return I gave him mine and he pulled me up from my seat.

"I would also like you all to officially meet my mate, your new Luna. She is a light witch. I do not appreciate her recent treatment from a few of you. Ally will be treated with respect."

"Quinn!" I scolded. He looked at me surprised. Hell I was surprised.

"I do not expect them to treat me with respect, Luna or not, I have not earned it." His surprised face softened into one of adoration. I turned to address the pack.

"I may not be a were like you but I do promise to do my best as your Luna. I hope you will forgive me for any mistakes I may make along the way but I will always try to correct them. I know this war Quinn speaks of has scared you all. I can see it in your eyes, on your faces, and sense it in your hearts. But standing together as you are will send a message to our leaders that we will not fall! We will not fight their war against each other! We want peace!"

"I stand here today simply asking for your acceptance. I will stand by your side. In the tough months that are coming. I will help where I can. Where I am hopeless I hope you can guide me. Just as I promise to guide you." I didn't intend to say that much. But it all came out. And by the looks on the packs faces it worked. I saw determination. They were determined to do the right thing and help. The pack broke out into applause. One person stood up to speak.

"Luna, you have entranced our Alpha and you have our respect. Welcome to our pack." They bowed and sat down.

"Alright. Pack business has been conducted. You may leave." Quinn spoke.

When everyone started leaving he pulled me into his arms.

"You, my love, are going to be fine. I am so proud of you. You handled yourself well and won their respect. You earned your title. Our little pup will have an amazing mum."

I smiled up at him. "And our child will have an amazing dad."

So that's the end of chapter 8

Hopefully you read the note above. But yeah. I'd like some feedback To know if I'm wasting my time. I was in a bad mood this afternoon so I might update it anyway. I'm off uni until Feb. Thats if we "survive the end of the world". Haha.

Anyway yeah this chapter is longer then normal and feedback is appreciated, though I get none. And that sucks.
