Chapter six

Authors note: I know it's been a while I have had a bit of writers block but here is the next instalment of my story.

Quinn POV

I waited at her trail every night. There was no sign of her. Two weeks went by.

Through the day I carried on with pack business. Which lately mostly consisted of welcoming the newcomers to the outer houses. Everyone was settling in well. There was some initial discord with the kids but after a few lectures from the "scary alpha" it all died down and they all got on. It made it easier as my main focus then went to construction.

As it turned out, there were a lot of the supernatural folk seeking asylum. We were lucky we had the funds to support this.

Mum was busy being mother hen to the scared children. She really was amazing with them. I hoped my mate was as good with kids and with the pack as her.

New houses were being built everyday and we even installed security cameras for added protection. The outside world was becoming so unsettled.

The leaders wanted an all out war between all races. There was violence breaking out and supers all attacking each other. The people living with us couldn't understand it. We were living in peace, hell this whole country was.

The Were leaders wanted blood and expected us to slaughter others. I ignored every message they sent.

By this stage it was a month later. I now hadn't seen my girl in over three months. It killed me thinking of her, I wanted her here by my side...

Ally POV

I had a tiny tummy. No one else could tell but I could. I had a baby growing inside me. I fell on my bed onto my bed, throwing my arms over my eyes. "ARRGHHHH" I cried out, so frustrated with this situation. I wanted this mystery guy so badly to be here by my side yet I hated him for putting me through this. I have this baby growing inside me, I'm all by myself and I'm in danger because my baby has two different kind of parents. I wonder what kinda super he is. Mum tells me he is my mate. All supers apparently have a soul mate that will love them forever. So I couldn't understand why he left me. Mum wasn't worried that he wasn't around. She keeps telling me that as my mate, he will come back to me somehow.

"Are you alright baby?" Mum called from the other side of the door.

"Yeah, I'm just tried and frustrated. You can come in.." She entered my room and sat on my bed next to me.

"It will alone okay, he will find a way back to you. Our new house is nearly built. It's out with the local Were pack. A lot of Supers like us are going to them for help. Maybe he will be there hey?" Mum tried to sooth me.

"Yeh maybe, thanks mum."

After that I just wanted to sleep but I couldn't stop thinking. Ugh over three months already. The leaders don't want peace. They wanted destruction. They wanted a massacre.

I soon fell into a restless sleep..

I woke up soon after, startled. There was a blue haze around the room. A silhouette standing at my window. I froze, not knowing who it was.

"Angel, there is danger coming for you. Coming for your baby. Your baby and others like it, the leaders want to sacrifice, to make a point to the others. You must leave in the morning, wake up at six and get your mother. Take your clothes as that is all you will have time for. Any later and tonight will be your last night on this earth. Take care, Angel. I miss you."

I woke up again, startled. It was a dream. A bad dream. But the warning felt so real. That voice, that female voice, was so familiar.

"Grans..." I whispered. I looked at the clock, it was 5.30 am. I jumped up and ran to mums room.

She was frantically packing.

"Mum! Grans visited me.."

"Go pack Ally. Our house is ready and she warned me too. I just got a phone call from pack leader Quinn. They are calling everyone in. The leaders are coming to this country. Scouting out fighters, recruiting with force. I need you protected. You have half an hour!"

When she said Quinn's name it sent shivers down my spine. Where did that come from I thought as I ran to my room to collect my clothes. I pulled my stuff to the living room and waited for mum.

About 5 minutes later she dragged her stuff there and we pulled our bags to the car.

Once packed we were on the road. We hid our auras so anyone in the area wouldn't pick us up.

Quinn POV

I started my round of phone calls at 5 this morning. It was because people that had a fair way to travel to get to us. Well some of them anyway. I had one family on their way. A mother and daughter. The mother seemed really nice and daughter hasn't been in any trouble. I would talk to them when they got here. They lived on the edge of the town. And it would take them a good hour to get out here.

I still go out every night hoping to see her again.

I used the pack link to call to mum, telling her about our guests.

"Oh good, more locals. I hope I know them. What was their name?" Mum came into my office saying.

"Beth and Ally Angthy. Light witches. Beth is very protective of Ally from what I've gathered. Something tells me we have to protect them. They seem important."

"A dream son?"

"Yeah, a woman came to me asking me to look after her angel." I told her, rubbing the back of my head

"Sounds crazy I know"

"Your not crazy, listen to these feelings. They will guide you."

Around 7 a car pulled up outside the pack house.

"Alpha Quinn!" A female voice called.

I walked out to the front landing and saw my mate. Pulling her bags out of the car. I ran and stopped her, forcing her to look at me. She was shocked, and I just held her.

"I'm so sorry baby, let me explain. I'll tell you everything I promise."

She wrapped her arms around me and sobbed. She held onto me like she thought I would disappear. Hell, she probably thought I would.

"Alpha, I'm sorry but my daughter and I need to talk to you. I'm glad you came back to her but this conversation needs to happen now and in private" this woman spoke, I guess this is Beth.

"Of course Beth, please follow me this way" I told her, still holding tightly onto my girl, well I know her name is Ally now. What a beautiful name.

I led them to my office. Once the four of us were inside and seated on my couches.

"Beth, you and your daughter will be staying in the pack house with us. You will both be highly protected by my pack as Ally is now Luna." I felt shivers go through her body when I said her name. I smiled, glad to have that effect on her.

"Thank you, alpha. I appreciate your hospitality. My daughter had something very important to tell you. I will leave now so you can talk. Luna could you please show me around and to my room?"

"Beth, please call me Kate. I haven't been Luna for a long time."

My mother laughed as the two ladies exited the room.

Once the door was shut I turned to Ally and kissed her. I missed those lips so much.

Ally POV

I kissed him back. His kiss bringing me out of shock. I can't believe it is him! My mate! Alpha Quinn.

"Quinn.." I whispered when he stopped kissing me. "I'm pregnant.."
