That morning when I woke up, Edward was right next to me still asleep. As I was looking at him I noticed how cute he is when he sleeps, so peaceful. I just laid there watching him for a little bit, I decided I should probably get dressed and packed before he got up. I very quietly and carefully got out of bed, threw on leggings and a sweatshirt and pulled my hair bag into a ponytail. I threw all my other stuff that had ended up on the floor last night in my suitcase. I went on my phone and checked for any messages. Emily had sent me like 11.
"Don't do anything rambunctious ;)"
"Why is Edward leaving your room?"
"Oh he's getting your bags"
"Hello? Pick up your phone"
"Edward is planning something"
"Tell me what is happening"
"Jacqueline Marie Elliot answer your goddamn phone"
"Jesus are you guys are loud"
"The people next to you are complaining"
"Make your moans quieter"
"It's 2 in the morning what on earth are you guys still doing?"
I texted back with a "sorry we had some fun" and just left it at that.

I looked at the clock, it said it was 8:21. I left the room and decided to go knock on everyone else's doors to see who was up. Emily was up, Lindsay and Ralph were up, Ansel was up, Maggie and Mason were up and Natalie was up. We stood in the hallway and decided to wake everyone else up so we could leave by 9:30. I went back into my room and saw Edward awake on his phone. When he heard he door shut he looked over at me and said "Good morning sweetheart, how was your night?" He winked at me after he said that. I laughed. I went over and sat at the end of the bed by his feet. "We decided that we are leaving at 9:30." I said "and that means you need to get up and get packed, maybe we can see if Gage will drive our car today considering we got no sleep" we both laughed at that. But he still got up and got dressed, packed up all his stuff off the floor too. By 9:10 everyone was outside their doors waiting for us. "We decided that today everyone who didn't drive yesterday, will drive today." Gabe said with his enthusiastic voice. I looked at Edward and he winked at me. I laughed and started leaning on him. This was great. Me and Edward and Gage and Emily got into our purple PT Cruiser and drove off, toward Illinois, with everyone following behind us. Gage was in the drivers seat, Emily in the passenger seat, and me and Edward in the back. I leaned on Edwards shoulder and I don't remember much except listening to 5sos and Edward, Gage and Emily having a conversation about the Final Four upset.

I must've dozed off cause when I woke up we were in a Subway parking lot. "Well morning sunshine" Emily said in her sarcastic voice. "Where did Edward go?" I said, I was getting really really confused about what exactly was happening. "They went in to get us food, same with everyone else. I said I would stay with you as long as someone brought us back food." "At the moment we are in Wyoming. We just got here about an hour ago." I could tell she knew I was confused. "What time is it?" I said in a very confused voice, i still wasn't even fully awake. "It's 3:36. We are driving until 10 tonight and then we will stop somewhere and sleep. And actually sleep not fuck, but sleep" she said and looked straight at me. "Hey I bet you and Gage did it too." I said with a hint of sass in my voice. "We did, but we weren't that loud" she said with all sass. We both just started laughing. Edward and Gage came back with our food, and looked at us like we were crazy. After everyone else got into their cars. We started driving. We were driving towards Nebraska. I've heard that Nebraska has lots of corn. Or maybe that's Iowa. In total honesty I do not remember. We turned up the music to the song Don't Stop, by 5 seconds of summer. Jammin' out we rolled down our windows and sang at the top of our lungs. It was like the ultimate road trip with all of my friends. Then Maggie called me and a put her on speaker, "hey so Mason was dumb and forgot to bring something to drink and won't shut up about it. Can we stop somewhere and get him something, I'm about to throw him out the window." Maggie sounded really annoyed, I mean who wouldn't be with Mason. But they were our drummer couple so we couldn't get to mad at them. "Ugh okay fine I'll tell Gage" I said with my annoyed voice. We didn't actually stop for anything until about and hour later. We stopped once everyone needed gas. So we pulled into the nearest Quick-trip and got gas, Mason got his drink, and everyone else went inside and bought junk food. Everything was going great. Almost too good to be true. And then as it turns out, it was. We went back outside and Edward, Gabe, Aly and Ansel were all missing.
No no no no no no. This cannot be happening. He can't be gone, this cannot be happening. I need him. We have to be together, this whole thing is so that I can stay with him. "What do we do?" Natalie asked. We all just looked at each other.

Running, we ran to our cars. Looked for anything of any evidence for where they went. We checked our phones checked our cars inside and out. That's when we heard someone yell. It was Maggie. There was blood on the ground. Out into the road.

And that's when I saw him......
