It was moving day. We've been in the car for 10 fucking hours. Me and Scotty kept arguing about who is gonna ask if we're almost there, I ended up winning which meant Scotty had to ask.
"Are we almost there?" Smalls asked, "Yes, we're about 10 minutes away from the new house," Bill told scotty.

We arrived at the new house about an hour ago. I like the new house, I got the smaller room, which I don't mind since I don't have a lot of things. We've been unpacking since we got here. I've finished taking my stuff inside so I'm just helping scotty with his things, and helping putting boxes in the garage.
I walked out of the garage when I saw Scotty waving at somebody, I looked to where he was waving and I saw a tall slim boy, he looked around my age. After the boy said hi back to scotty he saw me and waved, I just looked at him blankly and picked up 2 boxes and walked back to the garage. I aint really tryna have a social life til summer starts.
-- After I ate dinner I asked Donna and Bill if I could walk around the town since the sun was still up. they said i could so i got my sweater and left.
As I was walking around i was listening to puppy love by paul anka on repeat. Me and my mom used to listen to this song all the time while baking.
After i've been walking for a half a hour I ended up at an abandoned lot. I found a worn down 1960 chevrolet impala that was near the center of the lot. I ended up sitting there watching the sky for about a hour til I started walking back home. As I was leaving I saw somebody going towards the lot, I couldn't see their face since they were wearing a hoodie and had the hood up. They seemed around my height tho.
Once i got home i took a shower and laid down listening to music. Soon I fell asleep.
-Benny's pov- On my way home from the sandlot, I saw that there was new neighbors, there was a girl that looked my age and a boy that looked younger. I waved at both of them but only the boy waved back, the girl just stared at me blankly. The girl was very pretty, she looked completely different from the boy. They seemed cool tho.
--- During dinner I asked about the new neighbors and the girl. I asked my mom if she knew anything but she didn't know anything and wasn't paying attention to me and my siblings like usual. I asked my older twin sisters if they knew, but they said they didn't know anything but they would tell me if they found out anything since "it was my first time asking about a girl".
After 1 1/2 hours I left my house and started walking to this old lot me, my parents, and siblings would go to. When I was about to walk into the lot I saw that the new girl walked out of it. I don't think she realized it was me, which i wouldn't be surprised considering i'm wearing a hood.
My dad's car is here, it's a '60 chevrolet impala. it's worn down, the inside is scratched up and tearing apart and there's plants growing on the tires and sides of the car. My dad left here for me incase I ever wanted the car when I was able to drive, all I would need to do is clean and fix some of it up.
I was at the lot for a hour or two before i went home, showered and went to sleep.
