{Before Incoming} "Sam, hey look at me" Lydia said, placing her hands on Sam's face, "I don't know what's gonna happen out there.. But it's not gonna be good"
"Why are you starting this conversation like that? You know I don't like this" Sam said, looking at her, "We're gonna be okay Lids"
"We don't know that Sam!" Lydia almost shouted, panic filling her, "I just don't, I don't know what will happen, I want to be able to walk away from this, all of us unharmed, but I have a bad feeling"
"I do too, but you trust me right?" he asked, Lydia nodding, "We're going to be okay. And after this war is fought, we'll take a little break yeah? Go travel, where we can, maybe settle down a bit?"
"Yeah.. Yeah I'd like that Birdy" Lydia sighed, looking her boyfriend in the eyes and giving a small smile. "Alright, let's do this" -------------------------------------------------------
Everyone headed out onto the field where the attackers were heading in, just landing outside the dome. It was extremely nerve racking to say the very least, was anyone truly prepared?

Everyone formed a big crowd, saying their chants and preparing for this battle. Lydia checked her suit, and weapons twice, taking a few deep breaths. She signed up for all of this...right?
"Where's your friend?" Natasha asked the one alien
"You will pay got his life with yours" They answered, "Thanos will have that stone"
