LEGENDS SHIP

"Can you believe what we just saw with our own eyes?" Ray asked. "The actual JSA. And Hourman? The guy's amazing."

"Aw, Haircut's in love." Mick said.

Ray scoffed. "Come on. Those guys were precise, professional, in constant agreement. We can't even agree on whose turn it is to make dinner."

"I can't argue with you, man." Jax stated. "They got some serious skills."

"Big deal." Sara exclaimed. "Apart from the fancy headquarters, discipline, and calls from the White House, I mean, what do they have that we don't?"

"An actual leader." Ray said. "Rip's gone, and who knows when or if we'll ever find him. In the meantime, we need someone who can make the tough calls."

"Let me guess, you're volunteering?" Mick asked.

"With all due respect, Raymond," Stein started. "I thinks there's a reason Mr, Tyler just naturally assumed I was in charged."

"Yeah, because he's from 1942 where people like you are in charge. An old white dude." Donna said as nicely as possible.

" 'old' meaning... experienced." Stein said.

"What about-" Donna was about to saying something but she was cut off by Sara.

"Martian's right." She said. "With Rip gone, we could use some adult supervision. Congratulations, Captain."

"I believe our first order of business concerns Dr. Heywood." Stein said.

People started to walk towards the library but Donna stopped them.

"I'll do it." She said before she began to walk towards the library. When she reached the library she slightly opened the door and swiftly squeezed passed.

"Is that grandpa?" Donna asked as she stood besides him.

"Yeah." He answered. "Pictures of him are hard to find. You just got to know where to look."

Donna sighed. "Well, that's must've been something, getting the chance to meet him."

"You would think so, right?" He asked, turning his head to face Donna. "But.. I don't know. Felt empty somehow."

"Meeting your idols usually does." Donna stated, she stood in front of him, awfully close. "Think of it this way. You are gonna have one hell of a story to tell your friends when you get back home."

"Back home? 2016 back home?" Nate asked. Donna shook her head yes. "You can't cut me from the team."

"I know," Donna muttered. "Because you're not a member of it. And I don't think I am either." Whispering the last part to herself.

"And even if you were, history can be dangerous, and it's no place for a historian." Donna finished.

"You can help me, though." Nate said. "You're Troia."

"Oh, yeah." Donna said while putting her hand on his chest as she walked away. "You never told me how you know who I am."

Immediately Nate began to feel around his neck but noticed the lack of something, the dog tags. Donna immediately recognized his face of concern.

"The dog tags, they aren't around my neck." Nate informed.

"So?" Donna questioned confused.

"I haven't taken them off since I was a kid." He replied. "They were here a minute ago and now they've-"

"Vanished." Donna finished.

"History is changing." Nate muttered as he walked over to the table and began to flip through his journal looking through JSA notes.

"We have to go back." Nate informed.

"The JSA was pretty explicit on us not going back to 1942." Donna stated.

"That mission the JSA went on to track down Krieger in Paris, they're all going to die there tomorrow." He said. "My grandfather too."
