The team made their way back to the ship, with their new tag along, Jonah Hex. Donna and Nate broke off to go to his room briefly.

"That was fun." Nate said as he opened his door.

"What was?" Donna questioned as she leaned on the door frame, waiting for him.

"Blocking bullets." Nate clarified. "Is that how it feels when you block bullets?"

Donna smiled softly. "Honestly, yeah, it does. Even though it's always in life threatening situations, it's still exhilarating in a fun way."

"You should teach me some of your fighting styles."

"Themyscrian or jujitsu and shit like that?" Donna asked with a laugh.

"That's very funny." Nate said as he picked up a book. "I found what I needed, let's go."

Donna and Nate rushed to the debriefing room they made frequent stops in. Nate told the team on why certain things don't exist no more because the entirety of the United States has changed and someone named Turnbull is the aberration they need to stop.

The team made their way to the town to confront Turnbull.

"Where is everybody?" Donna asked.

"Ever since Turnbull set up shop 'bout 6 months ago, everyone's been run out of town or made to work in the mine." Jonah Hex explained.

"Mine?" Mick questioned. "What kind of mine?"

"Hell if I know."

"Nobody's been mining for gold through these parts for half a century." Nate stated.

"Well, he's pulling something out of the ground that's making him rich, Turnbull also owns the saloon." Ray replied.

Hex started to speak. "The hotel, the laundry... and the whorehouse."

"The answer's no, Mick." Sara said directed to Mick, already knowing what he'd ask.

"Turnbull got an office above the saloon." Hex mentioned. "It's also got about a dozen men making sure nobody gets close to him."

"Oh, I can handle that." Donna said as she started to walk towards the Saloon but Hex stopped her.

"Hot stuff, what do you think you're doing?" Hex asked. "This ain't a place for a lady like you."

Donna smiled. "I'm not no ordinary lady, sir." Saying the last part as she snatched her arm away from him.

Sara interjected. "Hex, Donna can carry herself and all of us, she's fine. But I have a plan where we can make this less messy." Sara tossed something to Mick and told him to go inside and have himself a nice time.

"Not sure I understand your plan." Amaya said, obviously confused. "You just set a match to a powder keg."

"And if Turnbull doesn't want his Saloon to burn down, then he's gonna have to come out of his office and deal with it." Sara said. "Amaya, your job is to make sure Rory keeps his pistol in his pants until he's outside the saloon."

"Clearly, I drew the short straw." Amaya said before she unwillingly made her way into the saloon.

Sara and Donna ordered Jax, Nate, and Ray to impose and tax collectors to find out how Turnbull was able to overthrow an entire town. With a few objections they finally agreed.

Donna listened in on the conversation that was being had between Sara and Jonah Hex. He again was being sexist but she didn't fully blame him because it's unfortunately the time period he lives in. But she helped a citizen fold away some clothes and helped a pregnant woman walk over to where she wanted to sit down.

Donna watched as Sara, and Hex walked into the Saloon, she stood prepared outside and waited for her que of when she needed to come in. Seconds later, while she was still waiting on top of the building, Everyone running out the Saloon.

Her team crouched behind an object and the enemies firing shots at them. Turnbull started to shoot his dwarf start bullets as she just learned. Donna leaped down and started to help near by civilians.

Mick turned around and started to shoot, Turnbull exclaimed how he felt betrayed and he prepared to shoot at Mick, his finger pulled the trigger and everything went in slow motion. Donna ran towards Mick just as Nate stood in front of him steel'd up this time but she wasn't going to let him risk himself.

When she got close, with only milliseconds to spare, she harshly pushed Nate out of the way and stood in front of Mick with her face facing towards his face. The bullet pierced right through her skin in her back. Donna eyes widened as the sharp pain was sent through her entire body, she put her weight onto Mick as she felt lightheaded.

"Donna? Donna are you okay?" Nate asked as she rushed besides her.

"I'm fine, I'm, just get me back to the ship." Donna said as she breathed heavy, her blood flow behind constant.

As they were going back to the ship, Donna had tripped due to the dizziness.

Everything went black.
