"What is with bad guys and ancient amulets?" Nate questioned."Any idea why Darhk wants this?" Ray questioned as well.
"All I know is, it's never a good idea when your nemesis starts accessorizing." Sara said as she paced back and forth, trying to figure out herself why Darhk wants the amulet.
"And he's teamed up with a Speedster." Jax clarified.
"What's a speedster?" Amaya asked.
"Someone with super speed." Donna answered. "That's how this Darhk guy escaped. The energy of the Speed Force grants the Speedster Chronokinesis, temporal manipulation."
"English, Amazon." Mick said before taking a sip of beer again.
"It means that his running real fast, let's him time travel." Sara dumbed down for Mick.
"I'll be in my room."
Sara laughed to herself a bit. "Martin, I need you to gather everything you can on Speedsters. And Nate's right, this amulet looks a lot like the one we recovered off the Nazis. There's got to be a connection."
"Let me guess, I'm on library duty." Nate said as he backed out the room with the face of are you serious.
Donna went to her room while Amaya, Nate, Sara, and Ray found information on the new amulet that Darhk wants. Now, for weeks something has been nagging Donna. Her powers. She hadn't told anyone but ever since Nate was almost killed by those bombs, it's like something inside her unleashed in a split second but was still subconsciously contained.
Donna sat in the middle of her room and meditated. This power she felt, it felt unnatural and unstable and she knew who she had to talk to. The gods of gods himself, Zeus.
The Amazon subconsciously brought her mind to Olympus, unintentionally she teleported right in front of Zeus and the other Gods.
"Zeus, forgive me." Donna said as she knelt down in front of him. Usually she doesn't do formalities but to the Amazons and Olympians, she has much respect for.
"Forgiven. Speak." Zeus spoke back.
Donna paused for a second, thinking about how she wanted to properly say what she needed to say. "I sense there is something wrong with me."
"What could possibly be wrong?"
"I feel like there's something inside me, something more than what I am and it wants to be let free, everyday it gets stronger and stronger." Donna explained. "Some days I just feel like I'm going to explode with power but I don't."
"You should tell her." Hermes said from the side.
"The fate of the multiverse depends on it." Athena spoke as well.
"Donna?"
"Donna?"
She heard her name behind called out and this started to make her loose focus.
"Depends on what?" Donna asked hurriedly.
"When time comes, you take them off." Hermes said pointing at her gauntlets.
Donna finally lost focus and came back to reality, she looked down at her gauntlets in confusion as a bright orange energy started to cool down from them.
"What just happened?" Sara asked as she stepped in the room. "Your hair was levitating, you were levitating and your cuffs were glowing a bright orange color."
The only thing Donna could manage to say was "I don't know." because truly she doesn't exactly know.
Sara sighed a little. "Well, uh, we got an alert and it's for the Old West, you wanna tag along? Or stay back and find out what the hell just happened."
"No, no, I'll come." Donna answered truthfully. "I need to take my mind off of this."
Donna rushed to the fabrication room and slipped on an outfit to suit the time period of the Old West, when she was ready she met back up with Sara, Nate, Ray, Amaya, Jax, and Mick.
As they all started to ride their horses to the source, Nate came around and started to exclaim that his horse is broken.
"Where's the professor?" Mick asked after he ignored Nate's exclaims.
"Uh, he's feelings a little off." Jax answered.
"More whiskey for me."
"Yee-haw!"
"Whoo-whoo-whoo"
Could all be heard in the distance.
"Sounds like a commotion of some kind." Amaya said.
"Hold back, let's get a better look." Sara said as she got off her horse.
Donna hopped off her horse just as everyone else did and walked with her team to find out what the commotion was all about. They stood behind some well covered bushes and saw what appeared to be a hanging of some kind.
A few seconds later, Sara made a silent exclaim about a man named Hex.
"You know that man?" Donna questioned.
Sara sighed. "We gotta help him."
"Well, we gotta take his crew out first." Jax stated.
"They look armed." Ray clarified.
"Don't worry, guys. I got this!" Nate said as he ran right in front of everyone.
Donna watched as Nate blocked all the bullets that was sent to him, he looked like he was having a lot of fun and that put a smile on Donna's face as she reminisced about her first time blocking bullets.
After the last guy ran away, the rest of the team came out from the shadows.
Donna heard Hex's slight comment but ignored it, she shot a smile towards Nate as he smiled back at her.
