Donna walked into the library and saw Nate working on something she's never seen before.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Donna asked in a soft voice.

"A little side project I've been working on with Ray and the professor." Nate stated as he kept working, the machine turning on but not working yet. "Hmm. It said that temporal aberrations cause these things called timequakes. So I started thinking, if there was a way of locating their epicenters, maybe we'll be able to fix the abbreviations before they even happen."

"So, a time seismograph?"

Nate gasped. "That's an awesome name, and im totally stealing that." He leaned in and kissed her on the forehead before he walked over to the screen.

"Hey, so about bef-" Nate started to speak but he was cut off.

The time seismograph started to work, Nate and Donna looked at each other and started to take off to alert their team members.

•••••••

"Where's it coming from?" Sara asked.

"Washington D.C., December 7, 1987." Nate revealed. "1600 Pennsylvania Avenue."

"The White House." Donna said, noticing the look on Mick's face.

"December 7th was the day before Reagan and Gorbachev signed the INF Treaty, reducing both countries nuclear arsenals and paving the way for the end of the Cold War." Stein informed.

"How do you know all of that?" Ray asked.

"Because I was in the capital for the very summit." Stein said. "The Reagan Administration would call upon the top nuclear physicists to act as technical advisors."

"You think someone might have traveled back in time to stop the treaty from being signed?" Ray questioned.

"That, or worse. Think about it, Reagan and Gorbachev under the same roof at one of the most volatile moments in history?" Nate made a speculation.

"The JSA has a training facility academy in D.C." Amaya stated. "I could reach out to the current membership, see if they have any intel or resources we could use."

"Good idea." Sara stated. "But you shouldn't go alone. 1987 is a long way from 1942, and it's dangerous to know too much of the future."

"I can handle myself." Amaya said.

"I'll go with her." Donna and Nate said at the same time.

"Great, you three reach out to the JSA while the rest of us break into the most secure residence in the country." Sara stated.

"Oh, you guys should really be careful." Donna said to the people who were breaking in. "Wonder Woman operates in D.C. at this point in time. I doubt anyone in here wants to fight 1 of the 3 greatest heroes to ever live."

Amaya, Nate, and Donna arrived at the training facility, Donna stepped off of her bike and sat her helmet on the seat of the bike.

"Women actually wore these things in the 80's?" Amaya questioned as she fixed her outfit for the hundredth time, even though she looked absolutely stunning in the outfit.

"Shoulder pads?" Nate questioned. "Yeah, they're supposed to make women more imposing. More, I don't know..."

"Manly." Donna finished for Nate.

"Yeah."

"I'd hoped that by this decade, women wouldn't need to use clothing to compensate for their status. Surely by now men and women are considered equals." Amaya informed everyone.

Donna sighed. "In our present, women are still not considered equals. I don't think that'll ever happen in our universe, maybe in a different one."

Amaya sighed in a very upsetting way but she quickly shrugged it off with a smile as she stopped walking and looked at the building. "This is it."

"This is the JSA academy?" Nate questioned confused. "Inside a crummy warehouse?"

"The JSA academy is hidden inside a crummy warehouse." Amaya stated as she entered in a code. "Prepare to see the most elite training facility in all of history."

Donna held back what she was going to say about the Justice League and Titans.

They walked into the warehouse and was met with the opposite of something being elite, and Nate made a comment on that. The place looked abandoned, like no one has been there in years.

After Nate knocked out Obsidian, he started whispering. "Do you think I killed him? I hope i didn't kill him. He's gotta be like 70 years old at least."

Nobody said anything.

"Oh my god, I just killed a member of the Justice Society."

"Why are you whispering?" Amaya questioned.

"In case he's not dead, he could probably use the nap." Nate clarified.

"I'm not an invalid." Obsidian (Todd) said, making Nate sigh in relief. "Just old. And you," He said towards Amaya. "You haven't aged a day."

"It's one of the few benefits of time travel." Amaya informed Todd.

"So, you left us to join the loveable losers."

"I was trying to find Rex's killer." Amaya said defensively.

"And you never thought to tell me?" Todd questioned her.

"I found Rex dying." Amaya told him. "His last words were time traveler. I didn't think. I just acted. What happened to them, Todd?"

"After the war, our friendship with the Soviet Union ended, and we continued fighting as what was known as the Iron Curtain descended over central and Eastern Europe."

"Does we include my grandfather?" Nate asked.

"Right to the end." Todd answered. "In 1956, President Eisenhower sent a team on a mission to Leipzig. They never made it back."

"Why didn't you go?" Donna asked him.

"56 was a charged time. They were concerned I couldn't be trusted." Todd stated.

"Why not?" Nate asked.

"Leave it be, Nathaniel." Amaya said.

"Nate, Donna, Amaya, repost back to the Waverider." Sara said in the comms.

Nate and Donna left as soon as they got the message, Amaya soon followed behind with the two.
