Jucinara's POV

"I hope Emma's doing okay." I say.

"Jessie said she's awake which is good."

Yesterday, during the Real Miami v Orlando Pride game, Emma's heart gave out and she had to have emergency transplant surgery.

"I wanna call her after our game." I say.

"We may have to in the morning since our game is on so late on the East coast." Christen says.

Tonight is the opening game of the season and we play Angel City at our home stadium.

"Okay." I mumble.

"Here we are." Christen says as she pulls into the players parking lot at the stadium.

After Christen pulls into the parking lot, she pulls into our designated spot, then we get out and grab our stuff from the trunk.

Once Christen and I both have our stuff, I set my skateboard on the ground then I get on and ride it to our locker room here at Solo Stadium

Ever since College I've always ridden a skate board to the locker room before every home game.

I can't really remember how it started, but I enjoy it so I'm gonna keep doing it.

When I get to locker room, I hope off my board and wait for my girlfriend to catch up then we walk into the locker room together.

As we're walking into the locker room, I look at our Line-up on the wall.

Once in the locker room, Christen and I put our stuff down in our respective lockers then we head outside for the pitch inspection.

After we've inspected the pitch, my teammates and I head back to the locker room.

When I get to my locker I take my AirPods out, take out my nose ring, take off my necklaces and my rings, then I put my jewelry and AirPods in my bag.

Once I'm jewelry free I take off my clothes then I put on my warm up top and my game shorts.

I then sit down in my locker and put on my socks, my shin pads and my red boots.

After my boots are on I head to Christen's locker then sit down on the floor in-between her legs.

"Hey Nara." Christen says then she starts running her fingers through my hair.

"Hi Chrissy." I say then I face forward and let Christen do her thing.

My runs her fingers through my hair for a little bit then she puts my hair into a pony tail just like I like it.

"Thanks." I say then I hug one of Christen's legs.

"No problem." Christen says then she tilts my head back and pecks my lips.

After our kiss, I get up, walk out of the locker room, and head onto the field with the outfield players

When I get on the pitch I run through my warm ups with the starters for a while then we head back to the locker room.

Once in the locker room I change out of the training top and change into my maroon jersey while the coaches do their last minute talks.

When the last minute talks end, we are told to head to the tunnel so I head to the back of the line in the tunnel.

Right before we head onto the pitch, I step out of line, walk to the front then I stand in front of the captain and face her.

"Hey Nara." Christen says with a smile.

"Hi." I say then I hug the Forward.

Christen and I hug for a few seconds then I get back in line behind

Minutes later we are told to head out onto the field for the prematch stuff so I follow Christen and Alana out onto the field.

Once on the field we stand in line for a few seconds then we shake hands with the Angel City players.

After we shake hands, we take a starting XI picture, Christen does the coin toss, then we do our huddle before we head onto the field.

"Good luck you four." Alex says as my sisters and I head to our positions

"Thanks Alex." I say. "But you'll be the one who needs it."

"Well that was easy." Isabel says as she, Adriana, and I talk to each other while Alana gathers her water bottle and towel from her goal.

"That's what happens when you mess up with your recruiting." I say.

Angel City decided to sign mostly former NWSL players to make up their roster.

Apparently they wanted to show the world how strong an all American side was.

I could understand them doing that if they signed more big name players than just Tobin and Alex, but they didn't.

I honestly don't know many of the players on their roster.

"We coulda scored more." Alana says.

We won 5-0 thanks to goals from Pernille, Christen, Jackie, Daan, and Ada.

"Yes we could." I say as I take my sisters water bottle then I drink some of the water.

"Are you and your girly friend coming over for dinner?" Isabel asks.

My sisters, myself, and our respective girlfriend's decided that after every home game, one of the couples or throuples will host dinner at their house.

All of my sisters have their own houses with their girlfriends.

"That's the plan." I say. "Well after we shower of course."

"How is it living with Christen?" Adriana asks.

"It's good." I say with a smile. "We both think the house is a bit small for us, but it's great."

"Small?" Isabel asks.

"It's a two bedroom house that Christen bought just so she'd have a place to stay in the offseason." I say. "None of us really have space to be alone if we need it."

"Are you going to look for a new house?" Alana asks.

"Maybe next year." I say. "If we get serious."

"You don't think you'll get serious?" Adriana asks.

"I don't know what the future holds." I say.

"We do." My sisters say in unison.

"You and Christen are gonna be together forever." Alana says.

"We can talk about that later." I say. "Let's go be social."

My sisters nod so we walk upfield, shake hands with the Angel City players, then I exchange Jerseys with one of the Angel City players before I walk around the stadium to sign stuff and take pictures.

After I've signed stuff and taken pictures, I head into the tunnel and make my way to the locker room.

Once in the locker room, I put the Angel City Jersey in my locker then I walk over to my girlfriend's locker and wait.

"Hi Baby." Christen says with a smile as she approaches me.

"Hi." I say with a smile then my beautiful girlfriend leans down and kisses me.

After Christen kisses me, she takes my hair out of the ponytail it's in then she kisses my head.

"Come on Nara." Christen says. "Let's go shower."
