"Have you seen this?" Sam says as she shows me a video on her phone.
The video is from the USWNT Twitter page and it's a video of Cairo.
"...Lindsey Horan has been sent home and suspended for the rest of this camp and the 2022 SheBelieves Cup for conduct detrimental to the team." Cairo says.
Apparently after the October friendly issue where Lindsey got mad at Jucinara for passing the ball when she, Lindsey, was lining up for a free kick, Cairo gave Lindsey a warning to stop putting herself above the team the team and to stop bullying her teammates.
After the stunt Lindsey pulled where she tried to break Jucinara and I up, and all that happened after the game last night, Lindsey and Cairo had a long talk on the plane ride from Dallas to LA.
By the time we Landed in LA, Lindsey had been sent home to Portland, suspended for the remainder of this camp, and suspended for SheBelieves.
"This is not a US Soccer Suspension." Cairo says. "This is a Cairo Jónsdóttir suspension."
"Well that's not gonna go over well the Lindsey stans." I mumble
"US Soccer, myself, and the rest of the national team will not be commenting on this issue any further." Cairo says. "See you all on Tuesday."
"Well I'm pretty sure all of Lindsey's fans are gonna attack you now Cairo." Tobin says.
"Probably." Cairo says as myself and the ladies's I'm with get to the restaurant we're having dinner at tonight. "But who gives a fuck."
Myself, Ash, Ali, Tobin, Alex, Sam, Abby, Cairo, and Talia are all having dinner tonight.
Oh and Koda's here too.
I was gonna take Jucinara out on a date, but the 8 ladies I'm with told me in no uncertain terms that we needed to talk and that I was coming with them.
"Who's Juice eating with?" Talia asks.
"Megan, Nova, Becky, Sarah, Moe, Syd, and Tierna." I say then we get seated. "And Nalu."
Once we're seated, the ladies I'm with and I look over the menu then order our food and drinks.
A few minutes later our drinks arrive.
"Ooh that's good." I say after shipping on my drink.
A few seconds later my phone buzzes so I check it.
"Is that Juice?" Ali asks.
"Yeah." I say with a smile then I answer my girlfriend's texts.
