"Who ya texting?" My sister Adriana asks as she sets my lunch down in front of me.
"Emma." I say. "I'm talking to her about what would be the best camera for me to use?"
"Oh." Adriana says as I lock my phone.
"Why do you need a camera?" Isabel asks.
"I'm gonna start that YouTube Chanel I talked about."
Ever since I came up with my bucket list, I've had the idea to document it for my future kids by putting it on YouTube so that in case I lose the footage, it'll be on the internet forever.
"Oh cool." Isabel says with a smile.
"Here Nara." My girlfriend says as she hands me drink while sitting next to me.
"Thanks." I say.
Christen smiles at me and kisses my temple then I notice her checking out my hands.
"Where'd you get your rings?" Christen asks then everyone on the team look at me.
We're about to have Atlético Los Angeles Media Day so the whole team is sitting in the chill room of our training center eating lunch.
"They we're my grandma's." I say as I look at the four rings I wear. "When my family and I were packing up my grandparents house in Brazil when I was fifteen, my Mom let my sisters and I pick out four rings each from my grandma's jewelry collection and she let my brother pick some stuff from my granddad's jewelry collection."
"Oh."
"My granddad was a gem miner in his younger days and all of my grandma's jewelry was made by him." I say.
"Well that's cool." Christen says then she touches the ring on my right ring finger. "What gemstone is this one?"
"A Rainforest Topaz." I say as I look at said ring.
