Jucinara's POV

"Is Emma gonna be here tonight?" I ask as I look at our line-up for tonight.

We're playing Real Miami tonight in Miami in our first game after the October friendlies.

The second game of the October friendlies, which was against Austria, was a bit of a cluster fuck.

The day after the Finland game, I stopped caring about what went on at the end of the game and in the locker room after the game

Lindsey, however, was still in her feelings the whole time and she almost cost us the game.

Needless to say Cairo ripped Lindsey a new one.

Once at Miami Freedom Park, the bus parks then everyone gets off and heads to the locker room.

"EMMA." I shout when I see my friend then I run to her and hug.

"Juice you just saw me." Emma says.

"So." I say. "I still missed you."

"Aww." Jessie and Christen say.

"Emmy." I playfully whine. "Our girlfriends are mean."

"Yeah." Emma says. "But their cute so we'll allow it."

"You right." I say then I let go of Emma so others can hug her.

After all of my teammates hug Emma, we head into our locker room.

When we get to the locker room everyone puts their stuff down in their respective lockers then we head outside for the pitch inspection.

After we've inspected the pitch, my teammates and I head to our locker room.

When I get to my locker I take my AirPods out, take out my nose ring, take off my necklaces and my rings, then I put my jewelry and AirPods in my bag.

Once I'm jewelry free I take off my tracksuit then I put on my warm up top and my game shorts.

I then sit down in my locker and put on my socks, my shin pads and my red boots.

After my boots are on I head to Christen's locker then sit down on the floor in-between her legs.

"Hey Nara." Christen says then she starts running her fingers through my hair.

"Hi Christen." I say then I face forward and let Christen do her thing.

Christen runs her fingers through my hair for a little bit then she puts my hair into a pony tail just like I like it.

"Thanks." I say then I hug one of Christen's legs.

"No problem." Christen says then she tilts my head back and pecks my lips.

After our kiss, I get up, walk out of the locker room, and head onto the field with the outfield players

When I get on the pitch I run through my warm ups with the starters for a while then we head back to the locker room.

Once in the locker room I change out of the training top and change into my gold jersey while the coaches do their last minute talks.

When the last minute talks end, we are told to head to the tunnel so I head to the back of the line in the tunnel.

Right before we head onto the pitch, I step out of line, walk to the front then I stand in front of the captain and face her.

"Hey Nara." Christen says with a smile.

"Hi." I say then I hug the Forward.

Christen and I hug for a few seconds then I get back in line behind Alana and Christen

Minutes later we are told to head out onto the field for the prematch stuff so I follow my sister and girlfriend out onto the field.

Once on the field we stand in line for a few seconds then we shake hands with the Real Miami players.

After we shake hands, we take a starting XI picture, Christen does the coin toss, then I lead Nalu to the bench.

"Stay here." I say

Nalu yips and smiles at me so I scratch her head then jog to my position on the field.

"So have you decided what you're gonna wear tomorrow?" Adriana asks as we wait around for the game to start.

"Mhmm." I say. "But you'll have to wait and see what it is."

"Boo." My sisters say causing me to chuckle.

"Come on munchkins." I say. "We gotta game to win."

"Cairo said to just let her deal with it." Christen says.

"Okay." I say. "But if she does it again then I'm gonna clap back."

We won our game yesterday against real Miami 1-0.

Earlier today, when we arrived back in LA, I was greeted with Lindsey Horan slandering me.

Basically she said I was a rookie who needed to watch how she speaks to the veterans on the team.

I may be a rookie on the national team, but I've been playing high-level competitive football longer than she has so she really needs to chill the fuck out before I ruin her reputation.

However, one of the more positive things to happen today is the fact that almost all of the national team and national team coaching staff texted me and said they thought Lindsey was out of order for what she said and that they we're behind me.

"And when I do clap back I'm gonna fucking ruin her." I say then I lean over and kiss my girlfriend. "But for now let's go meet your family."

Before the halloween party tonight, Christen and I are having lunch with her sisters and her Dad.

"Alrighty." Christen says then she, Nalu, and I get out of the car then we head up to the house.

Once at the house, Christen rings the doorbell then she opens the door.

"WE'RE HERE." Christen shouts.

"Loud Chrissy." I mumble making my girlfriend chuckle.

"We're in the kitchen." A male voice says then Christen leads me and Nalu to the kitchen.

"Hi Dad." Christen says as she hugs her dad then she hugs her sisters.

After Christen hugs her family, she intertwines our hands then she pulls me into her.

"Family." Christen says. "This is my girlfriend Jucinara."

"Hi." I say.

"Nara." Christen says. "This is my dad Cody, my sister Channing and my sister Tyler."

Christens family hug me then we grab some food and head to the living room to eat and get to know each other.

As I'm sitting down on a couch next to Christen, I have one thought on my mind.
