Jucinara's POV

"But they're sick." I mumble.

"I know they are princess, but they want you to go." Christen says. "And I want you to go."

"But..."

"Jucinara Thaís Soares Barbosa Press." My wife says.

Uh oh.

"Our kids will be fine." Christen says then she turns my head to look at our sleeping kids in our hotel suite.

The national team and I are in England for our first friendly of the January Window.

We have the day off today and for Christmas my wife surprised me with tickets to the Sale Sharks v Harlequins rugby match that's taking place today.

We have 6 tickets for the game and we were supposed to go as a family and with Tobin and Alex, but my kids are sick and I don't wanna go.

"They'll probably be sleeping the rest of the day." Christen says. "And even if they do wake up, We have good doctors who will take care of them."

"What if..." I say then I get cut off by my wife kissing me.

"This is exactly why you need to go." Christen says. "You're too worried and too stressed and you have been since you started playing football after your surgery."

"I..."

"Jucinara." Christen says in a warning tone.

I sigh then I turn my head into my wife's neck and wrap my arms around her.

"I never though I'd hate someone being sick so much." I mumble.

"I know Nara." Christen softly says as she runs her nails over my back. "But just like when we get sick, our kids will be fine in a couple days after getting some rest."

"Okay." I mumble. "Can you shower with me?"

Wordlessly, Christen picks me up then she carries me to the bathroom of our suite.

Once in the bathroom, Christen sets me on the counter then she turns on the shower.

While the shower is warming up, Christen and I undress then my wife picks me up and holds me while we wait for the shower.

"Nalu's on Nanny duty." I whisper as I look at my dog.

Nalu's laying on the twins' bed and she staring at our favorite little humans.

"I think Nalu loves João and Zoi more than she loves people food." Christen says.

"She must love them a lot then." I say.

Christen and I smile at our kids then we realize the shower is ready so we get in

Once in the shower, Christen and I let the water cascade over us for a while then she sets me down.

After I'm set on my feet, my wife and I wash each other's bodies.

When Christen and I finish washing each other, we turn the shower off then the two of us dry off.

Once I'm dry, I get dressed for the rugby game I'm going to with my friends.

Joining me at the game is Talia, Ash, Emma, Tobin, and Sam.

"I've grown to like this jersey." Christen says as I put on my Harlequins jersey
