Jason's POV

After the Apollo kids took us to our cabins, I directly changed my clothes and slept. I had a wonderful nightmare which kept me terrified for the next few weeks.

I was standing in the valley of Half-Blood Hill where the blue sky suddenly turned black and the place suddenly became gloomy.

I saw my dad standing beside me, weapons ready. Percy about three feet away from me with his dad holding a trident. Then there's Nico with Hades ready for a fight.

All of a sudden, cloaked figures (not the ones Hades brought) appeared and started killing campers. Dead black arrows rained down over the valley, striking more running campers.

I saw my best friends one by one dying. Stabbed, slashed, pierced, one by one they fell. Then I saw something I will always remember in a bad way.

Piper was surrounded by cloaked figures. One of the struck her but she deflected it and slashed him. Another one came up but was propelled back. One by one they came but were killed until one cloaked figure snuck up behind her and stabbed her through the gut.

I let out a scream but no sound came out. Tears streamed down my face as I saw my girlfriend fell and lie there dying. I wanted to fly there so bad and just die there with her but my legs won't move.

Percy and Nico looked at me tears streaming down because their loved ones were killed as well. Annabeth was lying there struck by an arrow and a cloaked figure (from Hades) was sprawled on the ground dead. Her hoodie was off but I don't recognize her except for features similar to Nico's. Must've been Nico's sister.

All that was left from camp are the Big Three and me, Nico, Percy. Another volley of arrows rained down on us and one should've struck me but just as it touched my body, I jolted up in my bed. Sweat trickling down my face, I looked at the window, reassuring myself there isn't another attack.

I changed my clothes and washed myself up a bit when I heard a knock on my cabin door. I opened the door to see Piper standing there.

The clanging of swords can be heard from Cabin Three. Poseidon's Cabin. Percy. I grabbed my sword and sprinted well maybe floated a little to Percy's cabin.

When I reached it, I saw nobody there. The door was closed but I can hear screaming and the clanging swords. Arrows swishing around and loud thuds signaling that they had missed their target.

I flung open the door to find Percy fighting with a non Hades cloaked figure. Riptide was sparring with a plain white curved sword. The sword morphed into a bow with an arrow knocked in at times and it was shot at Percy's direction. Percy ducked just in time or the arrow will have blown his head clean off.

It knocked and shot another five arrows which Percy luckily dodged in time. He leapt at the figure and stabbed him but it spun around.

I knocked myself into my senses and charged. I slashed at the figure about to decapitate his head but he ducked. Percy kicked making him crash to the wall. We fist bumped and charged together. The cloaked figure rolled around and stood back up sword ready.

He slashed Percy but he dodged leaving room for me to stab him. I struck him right in his side. The black cloak turned soggy where I stabbed him and he clutched his side. Percy roundhouse kicked him making the figure crash to the wall yet again. This time he didn't get back up.

"Coach Hedge rubbed off on you didn't he?" I joked.

"When you spend your entire life with satyrs their habits can be somehow influential," he answered laughing.

"I expect you to pull out a tin can and start eating now."

"Hahaha, and you can grow horns from  the top of your head," he said.

"Yea, with shaggy brown hair sprouting from your legs."

We shared some more satyr jokes before we remembered that an enemy is dying beside us.

Percy walked up and opened the hoodie. A boy about seventeen sat there with his eyes closed. He has shaggy brown hair and a pale skin dotted with freckles. I took his hand and checked his pulse. Still barely alive.

Percy grabbed him by the cloak and dragged him outside. Anger washed over him as he threw the boy out of his cabin. The boy landed with a thud without waking up.

"I saw cloaked figure like those attacking us in a dream." I said.

"Me too. I think it means something," Percy replied.

"It's showing us-" we said.

"The future," Nico said shadow traveling in front of me.

"Those things, I've seen them before not just in a dream. They're restless spirits of fallen warriors. Bloodthirsty monsters that only obey to one master-"

"Please let the next words be 'my father'," Percy pleaded.

"Moros, god of doom and fate."

"Wait a second, I read somewhere that if anyone messes with destiny it would release Chaos into the world. Doesn't that mean we can't avoid this?" Percy questioned.

"Yeah, I heard somewhere that even Zeus can't question fate," I said.

"Then we're all doomed," Nico intervened.

We all went silent for a while until Percy snapped, "No there must be a reason behind this, if we can reason with Moros' reason we can prevent this from happening."

"But how do we do that? Moros is Nyx's son and Nyx lives in-"

"Tartarus," Percy finished, "which means we'll find her son there."

"Here we go again," Nico said. He reached out for our hands and we took them. He closed his eyes and suddenly a cold gust of wind swept our faces. Our bodies feel like almost breaking up because of the speed we're traveling in. Our insides feel all tangled up and stone hard.

When we reached reality we were standing in front of a mansion, a black mansion with dark aura booming out of it. We're here, the House of Night.
