Ogygia Found Again

Leo's POV

I got a compass now. I'm gonna find her. Don't worry Leo you will totally find her!

I shouted in my mind. I was so excited yet filled with doubt.

What if the compass doesn't work? What if it's all just a cruel joke?

I kept on thinking about that as I walked up to the steering wheel. I took up the compass and saw that it was pointing west. I carried on in full speed.

I told Jason to scout the air to see if can find land. I also told Percy to go down to the ocean to locate land.

30 minutes after I sent them, I heard a shout from both Percy and Jason at the same time.

"Land Ho!"

Just as those words came to my ears, the compass exploded. We finally found Ogygia!

I ran up the deck to see a beautiful island, the same trees, the same white sand, the same cyclops.

Wait, cyclops?!

Jason and Percy came back on deck. I veered the ship next to the island and saw that the cyclops had Calypso in its hands.

Anger burned in me and fire burst out of my hands. I leaped out of the ship not caring that its 30 meters above the island. A wave caught me and I landed on the beach with a roll. I thrust my flaming hands in the cyclops' direction and the fire came out.

It touched the cyclops but only made him stunned. Stupid fireproof, one-eyed, teenage cycopath! I searched my tool belt and found an English wrench. I threw it at the cyclops.

He caught it in midair and bent it. He threw it back at me along with a boulder and a wooden block. I knew I couldn't avoid it all.

Just then a blast of water shot out and pushed back the block. A gust of wind blew and spiraled the boulder away. I ducked at the wrench and avoided it.

Percy, Jason, and Nico came and stood beside me swords ready. I flamed upwl my hands and charged at the monster.

I thrust my first fire attack and it blocked. It took a stick and slashed it at my head. I knelt and as I knelt, Percy jumped over me and stabbed at the cyclops. It dodged and swatted Percy away.

Fury coursed through my veins. Weaponless I charged at the monster and held its gigantic face.

I sent fire to my hands and burned its face. With my left hand I took out a dagger from my belt and stabbed its gut. It exploded to golden dust.

Foomph!

I was tackled to the ground by a bear hug. I looked up to see Calypso staring at me. She kissed me a good 2 minutes. The others looked away with respect.

"I so didn't miss you," she said.

"Well I'll get out of here now but this time with you," I said smirking. Jason sent a whirlwind lifting her up and setting her on the deck of the boat.

"What about my curse?" She asked.

"Hermes told me that the curse is lifted only by the one man chosen. Guess that "man" is me!" I declared now at the top of the boat too.

Jason lifted himself and Percy lifted himself up top using the water. We sailed away from the island happily especially me.

After 2 hours of that happiness, of course disaster must come to ruin the whole thing. Lightning flashed and strike the deck. Making it tip over a bit. A storm started brewing and the winds start to blow. Lighting flashed but strangely it only strikes near or to the boat destroying it.

The seas started to make a hurricane and waves start to crash more furiously. Though we're in the air, we could see and feel the earth and sea below us shake.

Suddenly a feeling of terror and fear washed over me. It drained the color of my face. I could see images of torture and things if I mention would guarantee to make you gag.

Everything  on the ship started tilting because of the winds and the ship is decreasing altitude. A few seconds later waves began crashing on the side of the boat, destroying it bit by bit. Everyone on the ship screamed as the wave of terror came again.
