Percy's POV
Not again. The third time in Tartarus isn't better than the first. The nightmares keep getting worse. They don't only give terrifying dreams, they predict terrifying futures.
We stepped in through the giant opal doors and immediately a high pitched alarm was sounded. Creatures cloathed in ripped scarlet robes raced towards us. Their visible skins looked like dragon scales in the form of human hands.
"Where are their weapons?" Jason asked.
"They don't need them. One touch from their scaly fingers and you'll lose all the blood in your body," Nico answered.
"Well that's not very pleasant now is it?" I asked.
"And we wouldn't want that happening. My army can finish them off," Nico said as he brought down a skeleton army from above. (A/N: Because the Underworld is above Tartarus.)
"But what advantage do they have? One touch and-" I asked confused.
"You know Annabeth's right about you being a Seaweed Brain," Jason answered.
"Why?" I asked clueless.
"Because skeletons don't have blood you idiot!" Jason shouted.
"Don't call me an idiot! I wasn't the one who left Annabeth when she fell into Tartarus although you could've saved her!" I screamed back.
"Yes but I wasn't the one who left Nico's sister to die!"
"Leave my sister out of this! You two shut up!" Nico screamed furiously. "Don't you see, Chaos left his signature mark here. This place, this mansion is designed to make chaos. Now snap out of it before we're trapped here for good!"
"Very good son oh Hades. I would expect it from that filthy son of Zeus but you impress me," said a shadowy figure.
Jason's cheeks turned bright red with fury while Nico took out his Black Stygian Ironsword. "I sense death." He said.
"Then you are absolutely correct son of Hades. I am-"
"Ker son of Nyx, brother of Moros and Thanatos," I finished.
"Perseus Jackson son of Poseidon. Last time you were here you caused a bit of disorder." Ker stated as he smolthly grabbed Nico's sword and tossed it behind him.
"Funny you should say that since you're the Bringer of Disorder's grandson." I replied.
"I am nothing like Grandpapy you filthy half-blood!"
"You're the god of violent death, it kinda sounds like something you inherited from him!"
Ker's eyes turned golden behind his hood as he took out a staff from inside his jet black cloak.
"I was sent by my mother to stop you from taking a step further so begone or you will have to fight me. And I'm sure THAT wouldn't be very pleasant now would it?"
"Stop stealing my lines! And I'm gonna do whatever I want you bloodthirsty god!" I shouted as I took a small step forward. I know right, I'm such a rebel.
"Enough! You can hold out my army with your stupid skeletons," he said showing us the heaps of dead creatures behind a few dozens of skeletons, "but you cannot defeat me!"
Ker shot a bright blue light towards but I dodged.
"Black Stygian Iron! His only weakness is my sword! That's why he snatched-" Nico called but he was cut off because the light nearly got him.
"Get my sword!" He shouted.
"Shut up son of Ha-"
"Eat sword you... Ker!" I said as my Celestial bronze sword hit his head. Unfortunately it passed through his skin like he was made of thin air.
