The secret assassins club who are a High School club that kills criminals in 2019, summoned the Devil's succubus daughter in need of getting power, but to do that they sacrificed their head assassin, Wes Grimes.
Wes didn't take the sacrifice well, as 15 years passed, and he became zombified before graduation. Seeking the Devil's assistant Rage, he got Wes employed to be his reaper, and hunt down the criminals that work for the president of the secret assassin's club Reggie Valentino, and avenge his death by killing him.
In the second book however, a detective was on his tail, trying to figure out where he connected with the murders of Saint Paul, and we discovered that he was Mormon. However, during a hostage thing that Wes, and Rage were doing, Wes discovered that he has been tricked, and he got his wish in murdering Reggie after finding out. In anger, Wes quit his job, and was found by his high school sweetheart who explained that she died the same year that Wes did.
Then after a little bit of an intervention, Wes broke down in sorrow, having his angel girlfriend comfort him, and they make a promise after they start redating, and making a couple of stops to defeat the Devil once, and for all with the help they have.
