As Olivine, and Detective Trent got out of the car, they found a stranger in white hoods, carrying a spear, and also wearing a Cthulhu mask in front of the entrance to the maze. The two approach the masked man.

As they arrived, Olivine bowed to the guard. "Forgive us for intruding," Olivine said. "I have come to bring the chosen one into the maze, so the masters can see him." "Him?" the guard asked. "The chosen one?" "Detective, give me your arms," Olivine explained. "Okay, but I don't see how showing this guy my arms will let us in," Trent said.

The detective held out both of his arms, as Olivine pulled down the sleeves on each one. The left arm didn't have anything to show, but the right arm revealed suction cup marks from what looked like one end of an octopus arm. "To be honest, I have no idea how that got there," Trent commented. "He is the chosen one," the guard said, and allowed the two to enter. "You may pass. The council would be happy to talk to you in privacy, and give you the sniper rifle."

Olivine, and Detective Trent enter the maze as the guard stayed where he was, and Detective Trent started to say something. "Okay, I need to address something," Trent said. "Did you put those suction cups on my arm?" "Of course not," Olivine explained. "You were born with them." "And how did you know that?" Trent asked. "We knew  each other for almost a year, and yet you found these octopus holes on my arm. For a moment, I actually thought you were an officer of the Saint Paul law."

"From ancient tale, legends believe that the Cthulhu Sniper was born as an infant boy with tentacle marks on his right arm," Olivine explained. "Once discovered, the councilmen brought him to a suburban neighborhood near the swamp, hoping that someone will raise him, and due there family good." "Is that what happened to me?" Trent asked. "My folks lied." "What did they say?" Olivine asked. "That I was born in Pittsburgh in the 70s summer," Trent answered. "Pittsburgh," Olivine said. "Never thought I would hear a lie like that come from a humans mouth. Especially from the chosen one himself."

"You're one to talk," Trent explained. "You just told me you were human before losing your head." "Thanks for reminding me," Olivine commented. "Well aside from that," Trent said. "If you were a Dullahan this whole time, why did it take you this long to find me." "I was too distracted by my civilian life to do that," Olivine explained. "You know how it is. A criminal in Saint Paul breaks the law, and it's up to a certain police officer such as myself to track him, or her down, and put him behind bars. But now that there are no more criminals left in Saint Paul, that means I finally found what I was looking for." "Well you can thank that reaper we kept behind bars for doing that," Trent said. "I hope he's doing well at that job you told him to get before all this."
