5 minutes later, Officer Frances came back out, wearing mossy metal bikini armor, with only her chest bare, and exposed, matching gauntlets, a loincloth, matching boots, and she was equipped with a long greatsword.
"Quite the get up," Trent said. "Though I'll have to admit. I never really had any affection for you, even though you were different from the rest of the police squad. So, I'm not really attracted to that." "Ditto, as you mortals say now," Frances commented. "Though, don't you think you should put on a coat?" Trent asked. "It's cold outside."
"Dullahan's can survive in all weathers because we're half undead," Frances answered. "I believe I'll be fine." "Alright then," Trent said, bringing out his umbrella. "By the way, where did that weapon of yours come from?" "It was in the evidence locker, along with other stuff I confiscated over the years," Frances explained. "Speaking of, these are for Wes's angel friend if she stops by here." Officer Frances placed the keys to the on the desk, while Detective Trent got up.
As the two left the police station, they got in the police car, and drove off to the swamp maze where the sniper rifle was going to be. "So, a Frances?" Trent asked. "How long have you roam the Earth, searching to do some good with the human race? You've been on the force, longer than me, and yet have existed longer than me." "My real name is Olivine," the Dullahan said. "As for my history, well that's another story. I don't even remember when I was born, but I know exactly where I came from."
"Well put it into detail," Trent said. "How you got to this country, and what your connection is with this Cthulhu tribe." "Okay," Olivine said. "It all started in my home town of Paris in the 1700s. I was one of the assistant settlers helping General Washington with assisting in the war against the red coats." "Wait, you knew General Washington?" Trent asked. "Yes, little did I know, I was captured by the France after the war against them ended. They of course cut my head off that day, but they knew I was American afterwards, and sent me back to my country floating in a coffin sent through the Atlantic Ocean, never to be found."
"What then?" Trent asked. "A familiar green eye found my coffin, and brought me out of the ocean, and towards a swamp here in Minnesota," Olivine answered. "That creature was Cthulhu." "Yikes," Trent said. "He saved my life, so I have nothing to worry about it," Olivine explained. "After Cthulhu brought me to this state, I was found by the followers who revived me, and made me into a Dullahan. With that, they gave me this armor, and a powerful blade to wield when the time comes for them to find a champion. I waited 3 centuries to find one, and today is that day." "Interesting story," Trent commented. "So how long, until we reach the so called maze?" "I believe we're already here," Olivine explained, as Trent found a dirty hedge wall.
