Back in the Chinatown district of Saint Paul, it was closing time at the restaurant where Wes was working, as he closed the day with putting up the chairs on the table where the customers were eating of off that day.

Ai came into the room, once all the chairs were put up, and got her jacket on. "Be sure to lock up, when your finished mopping, Mr. Grimes," Ai said. "Some of the water from outside might flood the restaurant." Ai leaves, as Wes grabbed a mop, but found a bright light from outside, and found what was causing it, as it got lowered.

Before grabbing the keys to lock the door, once he was finished mopping, Wes found that his high school sweetheart Audrey, and her witch doctor associate Emanuel have arrived, and went through the door, as it was still open. Audrey hugged Wes, just after coming in. "I'm so happy that you're out of that cell," Audrey said. "Though, I wasn't expecting you to get a job in a rainstorm." "Hey, someone has to make a living, even during rough weather," Emanuel said.

"What are you two doing back in town?" Wes asked. "Shouldn't you be waiting for another attack?" "We did, and as it turns out, Satan is after a sniper rifle," Audrey answered. "Wait, why?" Wes asked. "Is he planning on replacing me after I quit?" "Not exactly," Emanuel answered. "This sniper rifle is located in the swamp maze of Cthulhu outside of town, and if the Devil's men get their hands on it, they could absorb the powers from it, and destroy the planet with it. At least that would be our theory."

"A maze made by Cthulhu," Wes commented. "That's a third." "We have to get to that maze, before the Devil's followers can make it," Audrey said. "Sorry to tell you this, but I can't help you," Wes explained. "Why not?" Audrey asked. "The one time we need you to do something you like to do, and you don't do it?" "Hate to break it to you, but I'm on parole," Wes answered. "After being in jail for 8 months, the police made me get a job, and placed this leg bracelet on me, which would prevent me from acting in violence. Which is pointless, because I can't feel pain from electricity, but I digress from that."

"Maybe we can get that leg bracelet off of you, when we get there," Audrey said. "Uh guys, you might want to look out the window," Emanuel explained, and the two decided to take a look. As they saw from the right side, the rain was creating a tidal wave which was going west of the street they were on. "If I was Noah, I would rescue an entire zoo from that," Emanuel commented. "And not just, 2 of each." "What's with the tidal wave?" Wes asked. "We forgot to mention that we needed to pick you up, or else the entire city would flood with you locked up, inside the restaurant," Audrey answered. "I didn't want to risk having you drown in any body of water again." "Fine, I'll go, but I'm not fighting," Wes said. "Let me lock up the place first."
