Wrong Number Spidey

What is a family?

Tony was conflicted, he knew something was of with Peter but he couldn't bring himself to harm the boy. The other avengers had stopped their battles and for a moment it felt as though the world was holding it's breath as Tony stretched his arm out towards Peter.

"Kid It's me, Tony" he said softly, letting his armor fold away from his face and hands.  

"No..No DON'T TOUCH ME!!" Peter began to scream violently, he launched a kick towards Tony faster than anyone could even react, Tony was sent flying, his suit was fractured, if not for it he would likely have died. The other Avengers watched in horror at Tony's broken form on the ground.

Peter looked off into space, fists clenched till his knuckles turned white, tears fell freely from his face, "I won't let anyone hurt us anymore."

Nat approached more cautiously, "Peter, we're not gonna hurt you." 

Peter immediately dashed towards her, Nat dodged, weaving between his frenzied attacks, Peter's attacks became faster and more acurate, each aimed to maim or kill. Nat, despite the pressure of Pete's attacks continued evading,

Nat suddenly stopped dodging and began to speak "Pete, you might not be able to hear me but i want you to know that I care about you, we all do. In the short time that you've known us you've managed to change us in ways we could never imagine, you taught me what it means to be a mother, i love you my little паук "  

Pete froze momentarily, he reached out slowly, "m..mom" 

His hand closed around her neck as his eyes glazed over once more.

_____Hulk______

 Hulk was angrier than he had been for a long time, something was wrong with his spider friend.

"HULK SMAAASHHH!!!" yelled the green creature in fury, he wouldn't let anyone hurt his friend. His eyes glowed green as he demolished anyone unlucky enough to get in his way, He approached Peter who still held Nat suspended in the air cutting off her oxygen supply.

Hulk grabbed Nat with all the care he could muster and Peter offered little resistance, Hulk placed her away carefully and approched Peter.

"Hulk don't wanna hurt spider friend, Hulk and spider friends" Cooed hulk illustrating this by slowly bringing his fists together

Peter's eyes were red from crying at this point he curled into a ball on the ground devoid of any will to fight, "I'll never be good enough, i can't even protect my own family, all of them"

.......Tony.......

Peter seemed to be slowly regaining control, the other's finished dealing with the HYDRA grunts that were scattered around. The other avengers looked in surprise as they noticed movement from the fallen Iron man.

Tony managed to force himself into a sitting position, separating himself from his suit and he began to speak in slow pained breaths," Kid... nobody's perfect, but that's what makes us human and you don't need to worry about protecting us, that's our job, we may be dysfunctional and strange but at the end of the day we are a family, we are you're family Pete"

----Peter---

Peter was hurt, all he felt was pain, the worst part was that it was all on the inside eating away at him, oh how he longed for it to be physical, raw physical pain fades but emotional wounds never fully disappear, they heal but all it takes is a little pressure to tear them open.

He had barged in and knocked Mark to the ground, he hit him a few times, enough to kill someone but he didn't die and despite his rage and burning hatred, a part of Peter was relieved. He couldn't help it anymore, he looked around and saw the wrecked apartment room and an injured May and it all began to disappear as he broke down.

Tony dragged himself to Peter's side with the rest of the Avengers and th team settled into a group hug. "We have a long way to go till we reach some semblance of normal in our lives but as long as we have each other i know we'll be fine."

All of the avengers were moved by Tony's words and they each felt they had something to tell the boy but some things just can't be expressed through words so they showed their love through their hugs, even Loki was pulled in to join the group hug by an over eager hulk.

Things were finally getting better for Peter.
