Chapter 7- A Gift

It had been a day, or rather, a few hours since The New Year's party, and it went really well.

I actually managed to talk to the 77th class a little, meaning that I pretty much know everyone here, wow.

Also I had befriended Chiaki Nanami, the Ultimate Gamer along with Nagito Komaeda, the Ultimate Lucky Student, from the other class.

I honestly didn't know that two people can have the same talent but here we are, I guess.

 Anyways, we were currently in the middle of a lecture, and to be honest, I half zoned in and half zoned out.

Why?

Well it's because I kept thinking of when Kyoko gave me those headphones, which I was wearing, as a matter of fact, and that I should definitely give her something, also she's a really good friend and I owe her.

I know there's a mall nearby that I can take the bus to after school.

But the only issue is what the heck do I get her, I really should've asked her more about her likes and dislikes that one time we hung out together.

I mentally facepalm myself at that.

"Y/N!" 

"Huh?" I say.

I snap out of my thoughts and I see Hina turned around on her chair, because y'know, she sits in front of me.

"You've been zoned out since the near the end of the lesson and everyone's now packing up!" 

I look around and yeah, people were packing up.

"Oh, oops" I say.

I start packing up my stuff so I'd be able to immediately leave once the bell went. 

"What were thinking about anyways?" She asks.

"Nothing relevant" I respond while still packing my stuff.

"Oh come on! It have to had been something" 

As I was thinking about what to say, the bell rang, conveniently. 

"Oh wow, look at the time, gotta go bye!" I say while putting my bag on my shoulders, putting on my headphones to listen to music and walk out the door.

"Wh- Y/N!" I heard Hina say as I walk out the door.

I walk out the school exit, and go to the bus station.

*Timeskip*

After about a 20 minute bus ride, I arrive at the mall.

As of right now, I was just aimlessly walking around the mall, trying to find some kind of store I could go into to find a gift.

I'm not the type of person to get something meaningless for someone when it comes to gifts so I knew I was going to be here for a while.

But at the same time, I was overthinking a lot of things about this gift.

Mostly things like, 'what if she doesn't like the gift' and 'where do I even go for this' 

I shake my head to get rid of all the thoughts and decide to just continue on trying to find the gift.

That's when I come across a flower shop that I saw from the windows had a rose in a glass case.

That... could be good.

I walk inside the flower shop and go to the section where it had the rose thing.

I pick it up and I notice that it's apparently called a 'rose in vitro'
