I take a seat to the left.
Chiaki picks Isabelle as her character, meanwhile I pick Joker.
One, because I know we're allowed to pick DLC characters, and I know Joker is pretty good.
And two, because, WOAH, LOOKING COOL JOKER!
Ok, anyways, afterwards, the count down for the match begins.
As the last few seconds hit, I see Chiaki turn to me.
"Good luck" She says with a smile on her face.
"Thanks, you too" I say with a nod.
With that, the game begun, and we began with our attacks.
I feel like I should probably change up my strategy here a little, I know it may seem futile to actually want to try to win here, but honestly, I was landing hits on her, not without her kicking my ass though, but none of us lost any lives yet.
Not gonna lie, the more time went on in this match, the more I had the urge to just start spamming taunts and stuff, but I didn't of course.
I just realized I should probably get back to the game.
In this current point in the match, I was just trying my best to dodge, and I also using Joker's neutral specials, which in case you haven't seen all the memes, he wielded a gun.
Of course, I'll use the other specials, but I decided to use the neutrals for now.
I was using the gun normally but also performing rainstorm occasionally by jumping then hitting the B button on my controller.
Just like Fox, Joker was also good for edge guarding, and in case I fell off the edge at any point, I was able to use the grappling hook, aka, up special, to get myself back up again, which ended up happening a few times.
It was this point in the round where I remembered about the thing with rebellion's gauge, basically if you take 75% worth of damage or it's been three minutes, it becomes full and you're able to summon Arsene.
I seriously have no idea how the hell I managed to forget about it considering, one, I hit 75% percent damage long ago, and two, it sure as hell been way more than three minutes.
So because of that, I use Arsene for the next few attacks for thirty seconds.
The attacks with Arsene were honestly pretty strong, and one those thirty seconds of having Arsene attacking with me were up, I had done a good amount of damage, I now got her at 150% which was pretty close to 200%, once I reach that I've gotten her at two lives.
Buuuuut at the same time, she was ALSO close to getting me at two lives because at this point I dealt 165% worth of damage, yeah, I should probably watch out.
I keep on continuing with the whole trying land hits and trying to dodge thing.
At this point a part of me didn't really care what percentage of damage I took as long as I wasn't careless, of course, I just cared about making her at least lose ONE life, that's all I wanted.
And just as I said that, both of us ended up losing one life.
At the same time.
Well I didn't know that was possible, but hey, I can deal with that.
Anyways, now that it's pretty much phase two for me, time to use attack that y'know, aren't just neutral specials.
My go-to moves to do was of course, neutral specials, rainstorm especially.
Side specials, which was side B, where some plasma ball looking thing, shoots out of Joker's hands.
I also had another thing I used which was the up special grappling hook, basically I made it so that every time she jumped, I'd just use the grappling hook, which I would then use to get started on a combo.
