Sure enough the week of Bellamy's training passes in the blink of an eye and he begins to work rotations in solitary on his own. There are a few guards every now and then that come to walk he halls or feed the inmates but besides that Bellamy was on his own. Most of the inmates were no trouble, save a few. But they quickly learned to not try anything with Blake. Given his strict and assertive nature? there was no playing games or running up on him. Like Pike, Bellamy Blake was hard to break. He keeps his stern exterior and is firm with all inmates, men and women alike. He keeps his boundaries and rules clear and makes sure they sty in line; however, there were a select few who didn't need that firm reminder. Prisoner 319 among them. She side eyes him when she thinks he isn't looking and scowls or glares when he looks at her but nothing ever beyond that. All in all she was one of the best behaved inmates of everyone in the prison, and even with the violent history she possessed, Bellamy couldn't shake the feeling something was off.

One day as he returns Griffin to her cell and begins unlocking her chains a sudden noise from the hall catches his attention. With a quick glance he finds two inmates that have fought off their designated guards and started fighting amongst themselves. Bellamy, with the help of his associate Miller, they separate the inmates and shove them back into their cells before calling on Pike to start the write up. But as the commotion distracted Bellamy he was none the wiser to the unfinished task down the hall. Without thinking Bellamy left Griffin in her cell, unchained, door unlocked, and unattended before fleeing to handle the new scene.

Only when he begins to walk down the hall and past the cell block does he he realize his mistake. He curses under his breath as he jumps forward and into the room, his hand on his weapon, ready to defend, when his eyes suddenly land on the still figure sitting on the bed. Not only was Griffin still in her room, but she was sitting patiently on her bed with the chains still cuffed to her wrists. She didn't even try to take them off nor make a run for the door. She simply sat down and waited. But Bellamy wasn't willing to take any chances, quiet or not he stayed cautious as he steps in the room, looking around for anything suspicious.

She gives him an odd look and rolls her eyes when she figures out why he's on edge. A soft scoff escapes her, causing him to jump, his hand going to his weapon on instinct. She looks at his hand, then to his face and mutters under her breath; an action Bellamy did not expect. Stunned, he steps forward.

"Did you just say something?" He stutters.

The inmate looks at him, head cocked to the side with a raised brow, but says nothing. Instead she stands and stretches her arms out to him. He looks at them, then to her before he starts to reach out to uncuff them, but on second thought he then decides against it and crosses his arms tightly over his chest. She furrows her brow and shakes her chains. Still he does nothing. The inmate bites her lip and lets her arms fall lose, as well as her head. Bellamy hears her sigh and sees her shake her head. He expects her to sit back down and ignore him or anything else really, but instead she does the complete opposite

"They hurt." Bellamy shuffles slightly closer to make sure he wasn't hallucinating but she doesn't say anything again, nor does he move to remove the chains. She looks him in the eye, her blue eyes meeting his brown as she lifts her wrist again and gravels. "They're too tight. Please." As she shakes the chains to emphasize her meaning.

"So you can talk?"

Her eyes fall once more as they go back to staring at the ground. She shakes her head without another word leans her head back against the wall, gulping and then coughing slightly. It takes him a few moments to remember she wasn't given her lunch, everyone was too busy handling the chaos outside. She must be thirsty too... and hasn't spoken a word in two years since today. No wonder her voice is rough. With a sigh Bellamy leaves the room again, this time closing the door. When he returns he finds her not only still on the bed, but this time lying down on her back staring at the ceiling.
